This is the most useful instructional mixing video I have watched. I will go back over this again and again as long as it stays up.I have been using the UI24 for a five piece classic rock band for approx. one year after using other consoles of different types and find the UI24 the best choice for live gigs on the road. You are a master and I appreciate the time you spent to share your talent and show the capabilities of the UI24.

Awesome to watch and hear! Please excuse my ignorance as I am still learning this mixer and things that are new to me in mixing... but if someone doesn’t mind teaching me something g: Two guitars on separate channels, each carrying their own eq settings going into one sub group that is then eq’d. I get that.
One sax, eq’d going into its own sub...different eq. Couldn’t you just copy and paste those settings, or is there some specific reason to eq the sub differently? TIA
Sax has two mics on it, eq them separately to get a good sound out of each, then listen to them together to see how they react and eq sub group.
0:52 Wow that's a hard click! Does this happen often ? 11:49 Yeah it seems like it does. I reeeally dont want this in my PA, but i assume that is only happening when disengaging Solo on a Cue Output right? Or is the video's audio recorded from the Master Outs?
I'm pretty sure the audio would have been recorded from the headphone out, normally solo doesn't even affect what happens in the master outs.

how do you get to see the faders and EQ etc at the top ?
Enable Big Desktop in the settings. Only works on a 1080p (or higher) monitor connected to a computer (or 1080p tablet with browser that allows zoom in/out), as the HDMI out on the UI24r only supports 720p.
Is usb multitrack recording is raw or recorded with onboard effects? Can we have dry signal and processed signal recorded separately into usb?
Without effects. The signal flow is Pre-amp > Phase > Input Delay > USB Daw or Stick > HPF > EQ > Dynamics > Meter > Fader.

I second this question! I'd love to try mixing live multitracks with the onboard DSP and record the multitracks into a daw. I know it has an interface, but I don't know where this comes out in the signal path.
How do you send the signal from your daw to the mixer? how do you make the patching?

@@fredyayala4067 Sí, conectas vía USB y en el DAW seleccionas la Ui24 como interface. Pero cuidado! El input 1 de la Ui24 corresponde al input 11 en el DAW.

Is there a off/on button for eq? so that we can compare the audio having equalized and not equalized..
nice one.. although that snare sounds like a cardboard box. But I guess (being a drummer) that only bothers me :-)
Drums ok, but sax awfull, let the eq flat in mid !!! Vocals not present ! Snare more treeble ... Guitars very poor ! Bof !
