I love the review, I usually have trouble getting even half-decent reviews on little-known amps like this one, thanks a ton for doing a good review of the amp
Hey thanks for watching!
Great review! Keep up the good work!
Best review there is on this amp! Keep going!
If any store or distributor sign you up to review gear, it’s be their win!
Wow thank you for that compliment! And yes I will keep going! Have a great day!
@@frankytvph107 if you would've sold me this amp I would've bought it then and there.
@@thebeamerdreamer hey thanks for watching! And yeah this ones a keeper love the tones on this
@@frankytvph107 true I don't own one of these yet but looks like it has some tasty tones inside that .
Lovely blues tone you’re getting at about 3:00 onward
I have this amp came here for the review... Sounds great 🔥
Thanks for watching! And enjoy the amp as well!
Nice review. I listen to RL Burnside. And you sound a lot like him. Very cool.
Hi bud! Great review, thanks so much. Quick question, do you know if this amp takes pedals well? Or should I look for something else?
Hi there thanks for watching! Ive used dirt pedals and some reverbs on this and even multi effects on some occasions, and yeah it takes pedals good enough. Even with pedals this thing really gives of a warmer sound than others
Nice Review Sir! Is there an effects loop (send/return) at the back?
Thanks sir! It does have but pls do double check if they did some new modifications. The new ones look different
@@frankytvph107 thank you! Im planning to run the Mooer MicroPreamp pedal to the Cort amp's Return jack.. Hehe. Stay safe. \m/
I have a question, is there a noticeable mains hum when all vol. pots are turned completely down? I returned this amp for that reason, don´t know if all of them have this issue or if it was an exception. Thanks.
I have a question for you, Frank. Do you think it would be worth upgrading the speaker on this amp?
Try fit a 12inch in it
@@ricmel3033 Thanks, l upgraded to a Katana, but that might have been worth trying.
Great playing man..should I go for blackstar Id 20 , 40 or cort cmr 30?
I'd go for the cmr 30 not being biased coz of the video but, I've tried the ID series from v1 to 3. It has advantages compared to the cmr 30 but sound quality Id go for the cmr 30
@@frankytvph107 thanks a lot man. I play mostly metal. Is the distortion good? Not many reviews on UA-cam about it.
@@Karan-iy5mz Oh wait man if you play metal I wouldnt suggest the cmr 30. Better go with the ID core or something a bit heavier. To me the corts distortion/crunch channel is mostly mid range like nothing too lite like a fender and heavy like a boogie or something of the same range.
@@frankytvph107 Thanks man . I should have specified that before. Thanks for the help. Have you played orange crush 20?
Thanks for this review.
If you know a better amp in this price range, let me know and where to buy it
Thanks much.
I would say the orange rt20 is my personal favorite in this price range but I doesn’t have Bluetooth and is almost the same size as this. But if you want something light weight get the yamaha thr5 v2. We’ll if you’re in the Philippines it’s in jb music and perfect pitch
@@frankytvph107 yes here in Philippines.
Thanks much
Hi men! Should i get ASPIRE GA 60 or CORT CM30r. I really wanna buy a new amp and i dont know what to get between this two
Hi thanks for watching! For me no question it has to be the cort amp
Is this Amplifier can survive for outdoor use?
Sir can you please tell me what is the difference between the cort 15 watts and the 30 watts. I'm thinking of buying the 15 watts because it's a bit cheaper, and it's gonna be my first amp.
Literally just smaller speakers and wattage. Thats it. And sure you can get the 15 watts if its in your price range
@@frankytvph107 also the 30watts comes with an fx loop (!)
i found it amazing
@@frankytvph107 does the 15w have a bluetooth? Thanks
@@TheOpenRoadExperience hi there thanks for watching! No it doesnt. It only has an aux out
Hi mate , good review!
Have you had a play on the cort cmv15 at all and if you have, is it any good?
Thanks
Hi Dave thanks for watching! honestly I havent had the chance yet, its not available in my country yet. But I can assume it would be great since the other reviews about it are good and well I can only imagine if Cort's solid states are this good, I guess their tubes are great too.
Sounds great! But what about loudness and how good is the reverb?
If you turn it all up, in both clean and gain channels, in my experience it won't affect your tone. And the reverb, even if they say its a "digital reverb" It still sounds "pure" (if thats the right word to describe it). Well for me it doesn't sound digital. But of course your judge it, in the video I've had the reverb on at 12 o clock
Do you think its strong enough for gig on a smaller stage? Love the retrovibe. Thanks för a great reweiv.
What should I go for?
Vox pf 10 or Cort cm 15 whats your opinion. Pls help man.
Depends on your preference. For me vox is a classic great amp with that vintage sound. The cort on the other hand is more of a bit modern sound. I guess this will come down to your own personal sound. But both amps are really great
@@frankytvph107 tbh, I need that clean tone. Please tell me how good the clean tone in that cort is? If its decent still im fine. 💙Love you
@@swapnaneeel7209 the clean tone on the cort cmr15 and 30 is really good its warm and well the reverb really helps a lot. But if you want a more british warm clean tone go for the vox. The cort btw a brief background makes the instruments/amps for lots of known companies, i.e. squier ibanez and manu more
@@frankytvph107 thankie 💙
is this loud enough to gig with a band?
It depend on your drum.
Any acoustic full sized drum will drown any lil amp especially those with less than 50W 12" speaker.
But if your drummer play an electric drums. You can balance the drum volume to blend with the other instruments.
Is this good enough for Small Venue gigs?
Hi there thanks for watching! And yes it should be good enough but just to be sure have a back up mic
@@frankytvph107 Ohh 😮 👍 Thank you so Mic'd up it should work fine. I think your channel is great 👍 do you have any reviews for audio interface? I also want to start a UA-cam channel like this review things.
@@titopaoofficial thanks for watching my channel as well! And currently no. Non on interfaces. I use my Nux mg 30 as my go to interface. I mostly make instrumental music so that should work fine. If you have time check out my Spotify profile open.spotify.com/track/0PGnmOmZ7EyFpH6P00Fe5L?si=N1-E-GuWRAWuwZgBwyYabA&context=spotify%3Aalbum%3A38krZbuaoqyFzZP7P49rsL
Is this a tube amp or a transistor amp? Can I plug my acoustic guitar in this amp?
Is the back of speaker open
Hi there! Yes but its semi open
Is this used for keyboard amplifier
I ordered one from thomann and what I received did not have the retro 50s look which is the one reason I ordered one... Bitterly disappointed..
I have a friend who had the same problem. Turns out a couple of months after i did this review they changed the design on the new shipments. I didnt like it so much. They should've changed the images or informed you
@@frankytvph107 yes definitely thomann should have updated the image advertising it. , it's a shame they changed it. It looked really cool.. As the saying goes if it's not broke don't fix it... Cheers friend
@@billgretsch thats true. But do enjoy the sound of it. I enjoy its warm vintage kinda profile. Cheers as well!
