I love seeing Kirstie and Phil so young. Kirstie has just never stopped being adorable, has she? Also, all the tips and hints they give about what to look out for are really useful. They don't talk about those things anymore in the more recent episodes of LLL.
Lol… 20 years later… Can you find a starter home for under $800k? Not in my City… it’s so wrong. Glad they found a home and excellent advice!!!
They didn't find a home...
@@resnonverba137 Sorry, they didn’t see the update… but they still followed good advice.
@@pollypocket2282 I live in the U.S. It really depends on where you live as to what you can get for $75,000. In mid-America where I live, if you stay away frome large cities, $75k can get you a nice house with 2 or 3 bedrooms, a large backyard (garden), off-street parking and room to expand. I like this show because I'm fascinated at the difference in selling prices and the buying process between the U.K. and the U.S.
22 years ago! Love it!
One has to wonder what became of them, how it all turned out. Young people have no idea how brief 20 years is. If so, they'd never wait on anything.
Who would allow their child to romp on someone's bed - with their SHOES ON!? And, they describe themselves as "picky people"?????
Fife is also windy, cold, and damp! Beautiful, but not exactly sultry. The older I get, the less I like being cold. After sixty, move to Dorset! Lol!
Curious what they ended up doing. By now that little girl and any siblings are grown up and it's all old news.
Going by the prices, and the appearances of the hosts, this had to be early 2000's maybe late 90's. I pray they bought something as real estate there, I think, mimics the US, and the costs have risen exponentially, and nothing in that range would be available now. 😎👍✌

Omg-lovely couple but the wife seems SO cautious!
24 years old!
What year was this episode recorded? Or did I just miss it at the beginning?
2000
Modern?
I know! I think the definition of modern must be different over there 😂 Post 1792?
What's up with these horrific color schemes and wallpaper? I see WAY too much of this in these videos.
The British seem to hate plain walls and love wallpaper as well as what I call colour vomit. More than once when some walls were white Phil or Kirstie have said ‘it’s a blank slate’. lol
And doors, doors into kitchens, doors into living rooms….love the show, hate many of the houses.
Don't forget, this was filmed 22 years ago, when styles were different. Although I do think that in the past, the Brits just didn't have the extra cash to update their homes. And doors/carpets, closed in rooms, helped to keep the drafts and cold out.
