Greg, as a former Board of Elections Officer, the local elections that affect our community directly(school board, emergency services and EVERYTHING that affects us directly), always have Low Turnout.
I have crocheted a blanket while waiting for voters to show up.
You best believe those with the Best Public Schools etc, show up at the 2 year local elections.
You enjoy researching. Add how your local government works and what they control. Then Get Involved!
This is the message I wish I saw everywhere. It was always important but, in times these, there has to be engagement at every single level of government if we really want to enact policies that push the nation forward. Just like the census, misinformation and/or apathy results in our people getting the short end of the stick every time.

Marcus, you aren't an expert, but you're right with a lot of what you said. The problem with a lot of Americans is we vote for President, don't vote for Congress, don't vote at the local level, don't even fill out the damn Census- even though that's how government resources and Congressional representation are allocated, but expect the country to magically be something different. It has never worked that way. A lot of times, the people complaining about nothing being done are the same people that aren't civically engaged. Politicians have the power we give them. That's why gerrymandering exists. You either give them power actively by voting, or you give them power passively by doing nothing. For me, the very least I can do is vote for the things I claim to want for my country and community.

Another great episode. Also, the last conversation was needed. I can see both point of views, but complying doesn’t always save your life. This was a good example of people having a conversation where they don’t agree and still able to remain friends.

1:17:05 I can see where Goose is going with this example. It's similar to getting robbed, it's better to get home safe then report things, but in this case reporting cops could make you a target for stalking and harassment. Like the Florida Highway patrol lady reporting a cop.
Both guys make good points, Tank with bring attentive to important smaller elections and Goose with living in reality.

I’m down 30lbs here’s my two cents. Yes there are differences in people and blah blah blah but that main thing is to keep it simple. Caloric deficit is key, consistency is key, fad diets (keto, vegan, carnivore, etc) only work because when you eliminate certain foods from your diet you’re almost of the time automatically in a calorie deficit. I would recommend a balanced whole food diet and move more. One ingredient foods. Cardio and strength. Not just cardio. You can do more cardio like 3-4 likely but at least get 2 strength training sessions in. I won’t go into all the details or this will be an even longer post but keeping things simple and (no disrespect) but leave the excuses out. Your gender, genetics, age etc rarely play a part in why people can’t lose weight. It does happen but it’s rare. I agree with Tank on mixing things up though.

Greg has a point but I don’t see how we can enact change by continuing to comply even if we are being harassed! I always ask but I do it in a way that is disarming and then I can have a conversation.
Greg is set in his thoughts. Like Tank said..people who have different medical conditions try and try but cannot lose weight..medical situations like PCOS exist..men have always had an advantage..Greg wild! Marcus understands…which is why he he said “different people got different body types”. I like the different prospective of exchange of y’all. Marcus just look at it both ways..that’s just me.

I understand where Goose is coming from. Its like if im black but make the statement from my experience black people hate on their own people more than other races, would be true to me and not another black person doesn't make me racist. It just me stating my experience. Or chasing to approach a situation one way just to try and keep down drama dont make me wrong if someone else chooses to approach it with an attitude or questions. Some situations get handled differently depending on what type of day you having sometimes.
