"Wagon bridges" are increasingly rare as they are replaced with modern steel span bridges. But rarer still are mainline rail grinders followed by frog and level crossing grinders in short succession. These jobs typically happen days apart. Very cool video catch!!
This is fantastic. I never knew what is the difference between the long and the short LORAMs. This video explains the function of the two versions. Was the smoke very stinky and strong, when the first grinder passed you? These machines' work is very interesting and great you could capture the action in daylight. Usually they work at night, which is also spectacular because of the flying sparks. Unique video for sure, thanks for this quality update.
Nice you enjoyed it and could even take a message from it. The smoke wasn't really stinky, but together with the water spray from the grinder it created a haze that made filming somewhat problematic as the autofocus didn't work as desired.
