- Mr.Dirtbike_Kid is a 14-year-old street bike prodigy from Watts, CA. Riding bikes three times his size with people twice his age, Mr.Dirtbike_Kid is a well-recognized presence in the community. Street biking is not only an outlet, it's an alternative to the drugs and gang violence that kids from Watts often fall into. And let me ask which is safer, practicing balancing on a wheel at a controlled pace around all your friends, or doing 80mph through traffic on a sport bike with maybe 1 other rider? Do you really think the super sport is in less danger because his bike was more designed for the street? This kid gonna be one to watch, he also an inspiration to youngers and olders his manors, his will, he's got a real good head on his shoulders and at such a young age he gone be a really good role model to keep ppl out of gang crime and to follow your dreams and have fun. From UK I wish I had a friend like him before I entered the trap cycle of crime. Now I'm older I can look back and see what was wrong with my growing up but this young lad got so many right things going for him, big up young star!!

Wow, loved this story what a positive kid and an inspiration! I now 66 years of age and a black male that raced Moto X in my youth on the Southern California circuit. I had the same fascination with bikes in my youth. Was crowned the "Wheelie King in my home town" after wining a competition on a local track. Also spent many hours churning that dirt in Carson and Gardena CA before all those sub divisions were built. My helmet is off to you young Brother, stay safe on those streets! Much Love!

This was a real cool story. He's so mature I thought his graduation was high school. He reminds me a lot of my son. My son has surfed since he was 4. We were to poor for any competition stuff. My son is Christian and very anti drug and was always mature for his age. And has the same exact views on death. I wish this kid the best and safety. And to his mom. You raised a great kid.

I love that the neighborhood recognizes his talent and looks out for him. Making sure he stays out the gang life, and keeps focus on progression. The world needs more of these type of people.

I really hope Vice goes back and finds this young man in about 4 years (unless he graduates early) when he finishes high school to give everyone an update on which dirt bike company picks him up!
No company is going to pick him up just because he can wheelie a dirt bike. There's already plenty of kids younger than him that would run rings around him on the dirt.
You have to look at it if a dirt bike company picks him up they would probably drop him if he is still riding on the street. Because with every company on TV they're all controlled into doing the right thing. In Hollywood, politics and news media if you say the wrong thing your career is over.

He has the love. I got on my first dirt bike at the age of 5, I know that love. Haven't been without a bike since. I'm 58 years old now and that love has never faded, I still ride all weekend every weekend in the summer (it snows here). Just like me he'll ride his entire life, once the love gets you it's all you want to do. I hope his Mom is proud of him, she has a fine young Man there!
