We weren't originally going to do a reaction, because we thought it might be too political of a video. But, with all the requests, we decided to give it a watch. Yes, poverty has gone down but it isn't completely gone. Acc. to international standards we are still poor.
The poverty rate of India was 37% in 2005-06 which decreased drastically in 2010-11 to 22% which was further decreasing till 2016-17, almost 40 people came out per minute but after demonetisation and gst, it was the first time when India's rural poverty rate actually grew. People getting unemployed and salaries going down.

Well you would want to get it right if you are an international leader addressing important people of a different country. It should have taken a max. Of 3 mins to get it right if he had practiced earlier, and that is the sign of respect we are looking for.
