Mountain Goats - the Rut

View the entire mountain goat rut on a remote mountain ledge at night. This footage shows the rut behaviour unique to the mountain goat. Mature female mountain goats are in estrus for only two days each year so everything happens quickly. The mature males keep up the pressure 24 hours a day. It sometimes looks like a circus but the mountain goats get it done.
