Germany has a lot of doctors who specialize in this field. I am from Holland and had my knee operated on in Germany. Also better than in The Netherlands. This is not a hail mary from McCaffrey, this is wanting the best for your body.!

Facts! I just PCS'd back to the states from Germany. A lot of our medical community is sleeping and needs to learn from the Europeans. Real Talk.
I had my knee fixed in Germany. I can’t say enough about how great the whole process was. If I need another one, I still have my permanent residence. I’ll pay for the flight and procedure and still only pay around 2 grand.

I'm a 9ers fan but I have a sinking feeling that they will not be much of a force this year.
This is my blessing in disguise theory. Niners banged up this year don't make a deep playoff push and Purdy doesn't finish in the top 5 in stats. All this while getting reps with Pearsall. We pay him in the offseason, less then if he put up last years numbers and win the SB next year! Thats not cope-ium at all!

I hope it's not too late for CMC. The sooner treatment starts, the better the recovery. I think he needs an opinion from a specialist to give him a boost. Germany is known for its sports medicine specialists, especially Munich. And he was flown from SF directly to Munich. We'll see and hope that it will be successful

No, he is going to visit renowed Doctor Müller-Wohlfahrt who is immensely popular amongst athletes from all professions and has a great Reputation. Athletes like Usain Bolt Went to Him and he used to be the medical director of Bayern München for multiple decades. If he cant get it fixed, no one Else will

Wilks had some ups and downs but the players were lukewarm and it seemed to be too many unneeded headaches for shanny/lynch and better to pivot.

The Niners are banged up and considering how skilled their position players are, it is a huge problem. With Brock also somewhat hurt, apparently if nothing improves I sadly think this season might be lost. Part if it has to do with all the damn off season distractions two players caused (I won't name them but you know who they are). Hargrave is apparently out for the season, Greenlaw isn't back yet from injuring himself last season.

I had this, and eventually blew my Achilles...am betting CMC is out at least 8 games if not the season. 16 months later it is still weaker post surgery and unlikely to ever be the same.

tired of hearing that Wilks was fired because of the superbowl, he was not. he was fired because he was bad at his job the whole season. our defense went from exceptional to one of the worst in the league in a very short period of time, and wilks wasn't helping.

Unpopular opinion: Steve Wilkes’ best game as a DC was the Super Bowl 🆚 KC. Up until Greenlaw’s injury, Wilkes was in his bag and all facets of the defense was clicking. Dre went down then it all went up in smoke.

Shanahan is overrated and so is Purdy, when this team starts to break apart people will finally see. They’ll still be competitive for a playoff spot but they won’t be going to NFCCGs and Super Bowls anymore. This was the last year of their window and it looks like it’s slamming shut fast.
Purdy is a phenomenal Qb.

Reason why athletes go abroad is because they have access to things at levels they don't have here. Cheaper also. Id Imagine hes frustrated at his healing speed.
In this case there’s more than just a therapy not common or allowed in the states. In german newspapers it’s rumoured he’s in Munich with dr mueller Wohlfahrt. He has been the team doctor of Bayern Munich and the German national football team for decades. He has the reputation of the greatest German sport doctor of all time, especially known for non-surgical treatments.
As a 49ers-fan honestly super glad when I read he might be there. From his reputation here, if there’s one guy able to solve his problems I’d bet on dr mueller Wohlfahrt.
