Like saying he worked 400 days in one year, or that he was supposed to be the bassist for Metallica, or that he fought in Pride FC in the 70s, or that he was supposed to be the spokesperson of the George Foreman grill (suggesting George was the backup).
He once lied that his brother Allen was stabbed to death, then in same interview apologized for lying and saying he wasn't even sure why he said it. His brother did die, but he made up the stabbed part for reasons he wasn't even sure of.
Let’s think of the Rodgers thing like this. Yes he’s given us no reason to believe what he says. But at the same time he said “If I played better on Sunday, this doesn’t happen” in response to Saleh’s firing. I don’t think he’s putting blame on himself for Saleh’s firing if he wanted Saleh fired. He also refused to comment on Ulbrich being the interim coach cuz he didn’t wanna be disrespectful to Saleh.
