Tremendous coverage. you can’t rely on tv journalism to offer such investigative excellence related to sports medicine. Great job Injury Expertz.
Honestly, this is the best reliable source that I’m going to get out of all. I love this channel supporting it for a very long time. This doctor is very very accurate and very good. Thank you 🙏
Week 1 he said he's playing and now he's going to Germany. He's probably not going to play this season
He’ll be in Antarctica by end of this year 😂
@@Bulldog-qe9is bwahaha
@@Bulldog-qe9is Then point nemo after that doesn't work
Actually means the opposite. Means they are doing everything they can to get him out there asap
@@thebohr11my thoughts exactly. The team sucks without him and all the other guys.
Good bad or ugly.. doc really spittin.
Savin all of us from poor decision making
Doc, you truly are the best. Viewers need to appreciate you and like and sub every time you post. Thanks again for the information and the hard work. You're the best!!!! 🙏

Just wanted to say I Appreciate you as my UA-cam mentor Doc
Been coming here for the last 3 seasons and i appreciate the help, breaking down the injuries the way you do has saved me many times in fantasy. Better understand for decision making. Thanks💯 btw I never hope for injury on anyone and hope CmC figures this out.
Wow thanks for the Info Doctor. Great work on getting the update on this situation. Really sad for football if CMC ends up having to shut it down. Makes a lot of sense why San Francisco has been so weird around the McCaffrey situation. Let hope for the best and that they can get him back into the game.
You've been right on CMC so far this year. I wish I had taken advantage and traded for Mason early on
Enlightening. Thank You.
So interesting. I ruptured my Achilles and my surgeon told me it has nothing to do with if your tendon is sore. I had no issues with my body what so ever. He said it can just go with no warning. Such a terrible injury.
Why is an Achilles injury so unpredictable? May I ask?
@@antonioarriaga2079 no problem, honestly he just said it can just go. The research has no reason at all. Still trying to work it out. I literally just planted for foot to down to chase a player on a double screen in basketball. Just popped! Done that movement my whole life. Brutal
🚨🚨 thorough as usual! Let's get the Doc to 💯 k subs 🚨🚨
Thanks for watching!
Keep up the great work Doc
Greenlaw tore his Achilles in the other leg. Not the one he was battling Achilles tendinitis.. the explanation I got was he was over compensating
Camera quality looking great doc… what do you think about bpc-157? Is it viable for athletes at the nfl level?
Hope he finds the right treatment and that we will see him by the end of the season 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽 go Ninersssss!
He’s enjoying Oktoberfest.
lol imagine being CMC and finding out that long term, you’re fine, but you will be out ROS. Perfect party scenario 🎉
😂😂😂😂
Interesting information, hoping the best for Christian!
Idk how long you’ve had a page but I used to watch your fantasy drs page I think it was called. Love the in depth content keep on keeping on bud this is extremely helpful information
I'm pretty sure Greenlaw said he tore the achilles that wasn't having the issues leading up to the super bowl.
Yeah, it was his other Achilles that ruptured, not his Achilles that was bothering him leading up to the Super Bowl
Yeah he actually did they reported him with calf/achilles soreness
could you please talk more about what is done in Panama and Costa Rica?
Thank you, Doctor.
Thanks Dude. CMC may need to call it a career.
Lmao please
I lived in Germany for several years. The Euros are also mostly Christian but they don't let religion and politics control stem treatments and other medical treatments controversial in the USA as much. Euros have been around for way more centuries than us. Universal health Care is more designed for prevention and curing. We do the opposite of that here in the USA. CMC is doing all he can to get back on the field at 100%. I admire that. I picked him 1.01. This video tells me he won't play a single snap this year. Thank You Doc Morse for the injury information we don't hear anywhere else.
I also picked him 1.01… wow, do you really believe he won’t be back😳 if so I need to trade him now
Religious people, such as myself, have no problems with stem cell therapies, as long as they're coming from living humans, rather than dead humans who died from unnatural causes (such as aborted fetuses). Since Germany and most Western European countries have had stricter abortion laws than the US, Christian is most likely receiving adult stem cells from himself or another living adult donor.
Contrary to popular belief, embryonic stem cell research and therapies (stem cells from aborted fetuses) has never been banned in the US. States and the private sector have been free to fund such projects. The Bush administration just banned it at the federal level.
California is a leader in embryonic stem cell research. So, if Christian were getting that, he could have just stayed home and gotten that in CA.
I remember a few years ago doc saying CMC was a ferarri with 300k miles on it. Sucks that he wasted so much time on the panthers because the 9ers would have had him canton bound
Great insight, Dr! I don’t expect mcCaffrey to play this year, and probably need at least a year to recuperate.
Great explanation doc
This confirms scarring on his achilles as far as I'm concerned caused by microtearing as far as I know, basically as a minimum. I'm a medical massage therapist. 6+ month turnaround on stem cell therapies from what I've learned, what say you? And even then, it's experimental. It's basically the same idea as what you're saying. Fraying/twisting of the fibers is one way to look at it - then it heals incorrectly. I had a client once who had the same surgery 3 times because they kept working out too soon cause they were addicted to competitions. CMC reminds me of that because of how much he played through injury already, except without the surgeries. He may need a surgery just to get rid of the scar tissue at this point/break it up with scraping...but honestly manual movement (i.e. massage) likely not enough at this point. I'm not sure if stem cells are enough on their own, though, no matter how advanced they are - just because of how scar tissue locks up. It's like a stuck zipper on a bunch of fibers which causes the tendon to effectively shorten it's range of motion and cause chronic tightness. You can do a lot to release/relax a tendon but microtears are a slippery slope. I can infer what you say happened and that it healed incorrectly, which makes it worse through scarring. Scar tissue can be broken up, but they're basically going to have to microscrape it or something. Not sure if that's even a procedure yet or not. The medical field is still young. It's likely not impossible to break it up through scraping (massage technique), though. It's just so small it would take a ton of sessions, at least, best case scenario. I'd compare it to needing to sharpen a knife to get the burrs to point parallel together. It's probably like a gnawed up knife blade with burrs going either direction and missing some right now (microtears). Repeated sharpening (scraping in this case) can align the burrs (fibers) that are there, but it can't replace what's missing. That's where the stem cells come into play.
PSA: those touch your feet stretches you learn in school where people bounce up and down - that alone can cause microtearing. It's important to do it in one fluid motion and hold it instead. Usually it's not a big deal and can heal fine, but it can cause holes in the tissue - typically muscle - but that one specifically affects the achilles tendon.
The way they handled this situation tends towards it being more severe than mild - but it's likely microscopic and there's not a ton of people credible/skilled enough to verify it out there yet as far as microtearing goes. You kind of just have to assume it's there without looking.
He's going to try to play again this season, but in reality, he probably shouldn't be allowed or he'll be right back where he started imo. He's going to have to lose muscle and rest and build it back up later, which is incredibly difficult for athletes to do. I think he probably has the most stubborn type of personality to be injured, so it has to suck for him, but he needs to rest. Otherwise, he'll be back in Germany next year. He really should have done this as soon as the offseason began immediately following the playoffs, but most doctors don't specifically study muscles/tendons enough to know and I feel like CMC underreported his symptoms until late into his healing process. It's always going to be a question mark so they wouldn't rule him out until he couldn't play and they probably waited instead hoping it was something different. Lingering issues are really best addressed early because it's preventable (imo) if he had more consistent work done on his achilles to break up the scar tissue before it formed so the microtears could heal properly. They can heal without stem cells, but once scar tissue fills it in that's when it becomes complicated. Otherwise, his tendon/muscles might look like microscopic swiss cheese right now filled with scar tissue. Probably one of the most annoying injuries you could face as a superstar RB. Sounds like he's ripping the bandaid and doing his best to just get it overwith. They're going to have to combine therapies to make it really work if that's not standard practice already. If they scrape the hell out of it and THEN give him stem cells, in theory it should heal eventually if they break up the scar tissue. It needs to be inhibited to heal properly imo. Not sure if that's standard practice there or anywhere, though. He'll likely have some scar tissue residual no matter what, though, just because I think you practically need a microsurgery robot to do it 100% or just be extremely thorough and approach it macrocosmically.
Dr. Jesse doing the lords work, god bless you and my fantasy team!

So is that who he saw?
Hey doc can you do a quick video on Steelers rb back field with Warren getting a mri & Harris being seen in a sling
Thanks Doc, been coming here for injury updates since the beginning.
Thank you for your support!
Awesome podcast Doc 💯
Wow. I was hoping for something a bit more than the vague references you see in sports writer's articles...but didn't expect this thorough of an analysis. Nice work...but I'm depressed now :( Sounds like his career is very much in jeopardy. A year ago this time he began a rapid ascent to the pinnacle of a running back's success.
Glad you found it insightful, thanks for watching!
Kobe did the same thing for his knee, came back and was dunking on everyone! I vividly remember
Y7
How long was he out
@@Son0fLib3rtyIt seemed really fast. I can remember, it was so long ago but I remember thinking he was finished cause it was in his later years. When he came back though, he was playing like a 20 year old.
Expecially good update.
Doc -- you're the best. You give us priceless information. Thanks to you I had the confidence to trade for Mason Week Two.
Thank you.
Your the best !
If you assume his diagnosis is truly only "Achilles tendonitis", would these overseas treatments be effective instantly, or does it take weeks to benefit the swollen tendon? How many series of treatments? Is he being injected everyday for a week, or only a few times on one day? I know its difficult to know without being his doctor.
Should I sell CMC now or right before the trade deadline? I am in a dynasty league, but want to get draft capital from CMC before next season starts
Good info! Thx Doc
You can tell JK Dobbins is not the same player once he hits top end speed. His top end speed is gone. He still has great burst and acceleration but he can't run away from people anymore. Watch the 2 long runs from the LV game and you'll see what I mean.
Only my 2nd season playing fantasy but I wish I never got that first overall pick lol, 3 drafts this year and only took a RB once and it was CMC. 2-1, 3-0, and 0-3 in them, the 0-3 one is the one with CMC and my RB room is still okay after picking up Mason but my WR room is what is killing me and ofc with CMC being out it was like I didnt have a 1st round pick when I could have taken Amon Ra, JJ, marvin harrison JR, or shit even Breece Hall would have been good with his catching upside.
I have a question for you. Would it be better for him to have his achilles replaced, if you can even do that, or is this type of medicine he's seeking in Germany enough to get him back to playing shape? Appreciate you doc
Greenlaw ruptured the opposite Achilles tendon of the one that had tendinitis.
So insane that people in the US have to go overseas to get treatment that works. I believe that CMC did go overseas to get regen
Great job 👏🏽
Sent a buy low trade out for him, then watched this video. And now the news that he’s likely out till December. Thank God that trade wasn’t accepted before I could withdraw. 😅
Outstanding
Thanks Doc
Thanks buddy
FYI Doc…Greenlaw ruptured the other Achilles from the one he was suffering tendinitis on.
Done for the season.
Could it be that CMC is there for some kind of robotic ankles?
How would you compare the potency & efficacy of prolotherapy compared to PRP & these German substances?
Jordan Mason knew he was gunna play again on Friday
Dre Greenlaw tore the opposite Achilles from the one he was experiencing tendinitis in.
So cmc “when/if” he comes back, he’s gonna be a cyborg
That’s what I got from it
Will it work?
There are different types of stem cells. The type of stem cell banned in the US is human embryonic stem cell which means the cells are extracted from a human bwing in the first weeks of development. The result of the extraction is the death of the embryo. This is an issue for bioethecists and theologians. CMC is 28 years old. He is in the twilight of his Pro career. He attempting to extend his career at the most a few more years.
Cmc I don’t c playing this season
724 Collins Groves
So....is he out for the year doc?
Didn’t draft a single share of cmc this year thank the lord 🤣🤣 dudes a beast tho will dominate again next year
Probably not really saying much. How many teams did you get the #1 in, one, two at most?
Isn't that what Kobe did to recover from his Achilles? He talked about it after I wrote this
🤣
Kobe’s achilles was surgically repaired
He is getting that Peyton Manning health package over there in Germany.
You have pain, you have an injury and at his age an Achilles injury is probably end of his career at his current level. Anything that may be serious like a break, tear, or this case micro tears takes 6 weeks before it is healed. He could be getting things he does not want the NFL to know about or is not available, he should put himself on a shelf at least the 1st 6 weeks of the season so time for treatment is not an issue.
is this channel a replacement for the fantasy doctors?
Rest of season or 2024 year?
he goes to Munich at the time where there's the Oktoberfest, what a coincidence...
Hes out for the year
Says who
Dam CMC...not my guy...smh....hope things workout for him
German excellence
There is little to nothing we don't provide in the United States in the orthopedic industry. Everything mentioned is already done in the US today with FDA clearance, especially PRP treatments (which have never been effective anyway). How do I know? Because I work in this exact field for a company that makes all these treatments and know some of the best orthopedic surgeons in the country.
Fyi, stem cells don't work for this stuff. It's a bunch of hogwash. They even do these treatments in the US and stem cells for knees can even be done at some of the most prestigious places like Penn. And they'll all tell you it's a waste.
The amount of misinformation that is told to people is just mind boggling to me.
He's out, Greenlaws out, pearsalls out, Deebos out, Aiuk might as well be out!!😠
Wtf is wrong with Mostert? What's Walker's stupid stomach problem? When the hell are Brooks and Keaton Mitchell coming back????
America is about profit over all else. And on top of that our Christians are very restrictive in regards to medical treatments, plus the FDA only approves stuff if companies pay up enough money. Glad there are places in the world that don't think medical care should be purely profit driven or restricted by a religion. Hope he can get some helpful care and come back. He's fun to watch!
Amen!
Germany has always been ahead of us when It comes to sports rehab technology. Back when?
The Dallas Mavericks had a whole roster.Full of 40-year-olds and won.An n b a championship they were going to germany for cryoblast. This is not new if you pay attention.

Love your content doc but cmc back by week 8-9
Maybe it's game over for CMC.
It’s possible but there is still hope if he’s out seeking treatment.
Wouldn’t this be concerning short term but encouraging long term?
