Be ready to replace at least one component of that lighting system every year. Bulb, ballast, control unit. I am considering going aftermarket all together on the bulbs and everything.
I have the same headlight and is stuck on high beam (driver side) I have no idea what is wrong and dealer offer was new one for more than $700. Thank you for video.
can you tell me how much all the parts cost? i did exactly what you did and didnt get jack. its hard to read the part numbers so if you could somehow reply with them for me that would be wonderful.
Having a Raptor with the Factory HID's since 2013, you'd be better off putting some of the good LED Bulbs into the stock headlight housing. The Factory HID's do not produce as much light as they should, the light output is poor to say the least. Personally, I'm trying to find a way to replace the HID bulbs with LED ones in hope that it will produce more light.

Deadly man thanks for going threw the pain for us 😂
Love the honest approach, refreshing. How did the headlight conversion go?
I just got aftermarket lights and made sure they were for HID, and sadly triple the price.
Life saver bro!! I knew there needed to be a cover of some kind for the bulb access...this is awesome.

OEM bulbs will last a decade easy. Going cheap on HID bulbs is not smart...especially is you have to remove bumpers to get access to changing them.
So just for reference, this is what one needs to retrofit an F150 with halogens to oem HID?
What HID bulbs do you use for the headlights?

Do you have the part numbers for the screws?

I had just found the sheet in the garage but I'm in the middle of moving but I think I can find it
i was able to get a decent picture of the diagram picture you have. the biggest thing is just trying to find what ballasts i need for it
+Lance Kaiser I accidentally hit the flag button and not reply.....I am about $1300 in parts. the ballast I got on ebay and we're pretty inexpensive
+Lance Kaiser the hardest part I think to find was the harness connecting the ballast to bulb
hopefully my dealership doesnt charge me an arm and leg. how are they running for you ?

I’m trying to do the same thing. Have you figured it out yet? Like an idiot, I ordered LEDs thinking I could make it work.
Not sure it's possible. Then leds loose segments and get dull fast, if they don't just burn out all together or suck from the beggining

Don’t know if I’ll get a reply but on these parts it says left or right does it matter if it’s the same part like the ballast or the boot?
can you put the part numbers
