I know I've said it before but your channel has changed my life, I always thought cooking an authentic curry would be impossible without years of experience in the kitchen but i can honestly say after following your recipes they have all been outstanding so far please keep it up
First time I saw the brother cooking in his restaurant on UA-cam, I thought how can someone who sounds and looks like a special forces hired assassin, be such a great teacher/chef of such amazing dishes! Million subscribers in no time brother, thank you!
I’ve cooked so many curries in my time but they just never have the thick, rich consistency you get from a good Indian restaurant… until I discovered this channel. Wow!! What an inspiration!! ❤ this
Such a likeable person and such amazing recipes. These one pot dishes are the best you can find online. Nothing beats being taught to cook by someone with genuine experience
@@harshadagashe these are BIR recipes not home style. Have you tried to cook one of these one pot dishes yet? They are way better than what you can order.
This recipe was absolutely delicious when I made it! I love how you have simplified the steps needed to create an authentic tasting recipe. This tasted exactly like restaurant quality. Thanks for an awesome video.
It would be great to see you do a lamb/mutton/goat dish, but everything so far in your one pot series has been great! Loving the explanation of the flavours when you taste your own food at the end of the video. So many cooks and chefs on UA-cam taste their dish and go "well that tasted great" and then thats the end of the video, you have to wonder if they really care in the same way, I guess thats why your channel is so brilliant.
Latif, I love your videos. Please keep it up. Great to watch your journey too. I used to live in Nottingham, but now live in Argentina, and over here the south Asian food is nothing like back home. I've always loved cooking with these flavours but never got the right balance and recipes until I followed your videos. My wife loves the buttered chicken, and I've just made the base gravy and bhuna onions too.
Bhuna is the best. You need your own cookbook. You have taught countless people how to cook great curries. You are better than most tv chefs at explaining things.❤
These are great videos we want more! My wife and I have been trying them out and we've decided since it's just the two of us we're going to do a Latifs selection of one pot curries for christmas dinner this year :) thanks for the inspiration
Made this for dinner last night. I've never had a Bhuna. It was delicious and quick, I'm after a few curries I can cook after work during the week and this fits the bill. I did use thighs on the bone, I like that bit of extra flavour 😋
I’m in love with this one pot series! Latif you’ve gotta do some red meat dishes too for the red meat lovers 😭 the lamb the beef might be feeling a bit left out since you’re not showing them as much love heh
I have made this, and we really loved it. I skipped all the chillies and substituted it with peppers and sweet paprika powder, so my son can eat it as well. The only thing I would say is that if you are just cooking on a domestic electric hob, like I was, the cooking time will be longer than advised in the video. But it is still worth it. I will try your base gravy next, thanks for sharing.
Absolutely wonderful recipe and never have cooked a bhuna, as far as I remember. Will give this a try. Your channel has definitely given me really great tips and tricks in cooking Indian style food. Thank you so much Latif.
This recipe is definately a game changer. Will be trying many more of Latifs recipes. Bought many cook books over the years but nothing comes close .👍👍👍👍
I've loved cooking the base gravy curries for a few years now but these One pots are something else!. The Madras was amazing and wondered if you were thinking of doing a Garlic chilli chicken in this series as that is my all time fave curry! Keep up with the fab recipes, cheers 😋😋😋😋
I no longer dream of going on holiday in Hawaii, Tahiti, etc. - I now dream of eating at your restaurant! Wisdom comes with age ... Brilliant videos and recipes, thank you!
These one pot curries are amazing, so simple but the results are fabulous. Have not made this one yet but I did the one pot chicken saag and it was one of the best curries I have made!
Aaah mate, your channel is top notch! Cooked this Bhuna last night, one of the wife’s favourite dishes and I got some serious husband points (much needed 😂). It was delicious and your calm and concise methodology was very helpful. Easier to cook than dishes in the Dan Toombs ‘Curry Bible’ and just as good if not better. Thanks and respect!
It looks so great. I wish I could transition from just watching UA-cam videos to actually cooking something myself. Also, I don't know if I'm the only one, but when you offer the spoon of food up to the camera, I always open my mouth?
I tried this recipe at the weekend for the first time, in fact it was the first time I’ve tried one of your recipes and oh my…. What a curry!!!! Amazing. I was blown away and super happy with the amazing flavours in this dish. I can’t wait to start cooking up more dishes - your channel is awesome - a new fan in Australia 🇦🇺👍🏻
After watching your channel, came to your restaurant for a meal (and met you !). Such great food … thank you so much. About to start cooking your recipes now.
I made this dish weekend gone. Absolutely, lovely thank you so much for sharing technique and recipe. I will probably put in less spice at the end with tumeric and garam masala just because I am sensitive to too much spice. Else, beautiful.
In order to make a rogan you can follow the same recipe as the Bhuna , just add a bit more water, and tomatoes, maybe slightly less onions aswl, you should achieve what you desire.
This is my wife's favourite dish...looks fantastic. Will be doing this next week. Would appreciate it if you could do a lamb saag version please as that is my favourite. Thanks in advance. Your channel is top pick for me. Keep up the great and very much inspiring work 👏
Thank you so much love watching your cooking you make it so much easier. Also must add how you bless your cooking my mum God love her she always would say I add a good pinch of love and now I do the same. Thank you God bless and can’t wait for the next recipe with love from Western Australia❤
Thank you chef, I've made the butter chicken and it was better than my curry house. Now I'm sat eating this bhuna and my mouth is in heaven. Best wishes from Bristol.
Mate, thank you so much for this video. I just made this, substituting the chicken for tikka marinated paneer. It is absolutely exceptional. It’s better than our favourite Indian restaurant. Legend. Keep doing what you’re doing.
this will be done this weekend! i've made your other chicken bhuna, but this looks like a quick "what're we having for dinner? chicken bhuna, get it done!" meal. can't wait.
Made this last night for my partner as bhuna is her favourite curry, safe to say I will be making it again, the flavours were amazing as good as any restaurant 👍
I've done now 4 of your latest dishes..the masala fish..out the park and this Bhoona.. ABSOLUTELY AMAZING.. Love your simple recipes.. STUNNING!! Thank you Latif, have a good day 👍
Only just discovered your channel and it is truly inspirational. You have a great presence on the screen with a relaxing laid back style and you come over as a very likeable person. You should have your own tv show! I'm cooking the one pot chicken bhuna tonight with home made naan breads. Looking forward to it! I know it is a long shot but I regularly buy veggie samosas from a local desi sweet centre in Derby and they always provide them with a very thin in consistency but very hot dipping sauce. It's delicious and I was wondering what it might be called and how to make it? Maybe you could show us? Keep up the great work. I will be watching!
I'm going to do this one for the weekend my mum is coming over from Istanbul she loves a good Indian meal gonna have to buy the garlic naan bread though. Looks absolutely gorgeous. Thanks amazing as always.
Latif is the King of cook!! Yummy food abound in Latif's kitchen! You've got such pride in your food/cooking/kitchen Latif, which is so good to see. It's always enjoyable watching you cook. I'm a vegetable, fish & chicken lover, so related recipes are great to watch. Thanks for sharing your wonderful & tasty recipes with us.
Honestly this is one of the best cooking UA-cam channels, Love the step by step instructions, the explanations as to why you do the steps the way you do and the food looks so good, I have cooked a few and the results are amazing. Well done on the channel and no doubt this time next year you will be over 1million followers. Thanks for the content
Great idea, one pot curries, keep up the good work. I still make my own base gravy for those quick meals I make for family gathering so I'm not cooking all day lol
Thanks for these one pot videos Latif. They have got me back into making curry at home from scratch again. They are all delicious and I'm looking forward to doing this one too. Bhuna is one of my favourites.
I made this for the second time and it was absolutely brilliant. First time I made it I stuck to the ingredients exactly and I thought it was great however my wife and daughter found it way to hot. The second time I made it I cut back on the chilly powder, Kashmiri and no chilli’s. We all thought it was the best Indian dish I’ve ever made. Just as good as any takeaway we have tried. Will definitely be making it again and also trying some of the other recipes.
Love your dishes Latif, I've made the vindaloo, madras, saag aloo and Rogan Josh and all absolutely stunning! You've really helped change the way I make curries forever now! Thanks so much! I'd really like a one pot phaal if you could do one 😁 Always wanted to know how it's done 👌
When I travelled India i completely felt in love with that cuisine but it wasn' t possible to replicate that tasty dishes at home... Since when I started to follow Latifs everyrhing's more clear and easy to make. Just one question Chef... what's the difference beetwen a chickhen madras and this cickhen buna ?
I love your videos Latif, in the last week I have shared your channel with at least 4 people who are now all trying to cook your one pot dishes. I had never actually ordered a Madras from the local takeaway but I cooked your one pot version twice last week. Tonight I thought I would order a Madras to see how it compares, your one pot method is absolutely miles better, even the wife likes it. Keep up the good work it is greatly appreciated you should really consider bringing out a cookbook!
I know I've said it before but your channel has changed my life, I always thought cooking an authentic curry would be impossible without years of experience in the kitchen but i can honestly say after following your recipes they have all been outstanding so far please keep it up
I second that 👍
Thank you for the support
Couldn't have put it better myself. I feel like a master of South Asian cuisine just by following your recipes and methods.

Such a likeable person and such amazing recipes. These one pot dishes are the best you can find online. Nothing beats being taught to cook by someone with genuine experience
Made this for my English mate, and he recons it’s the best chicken bhuna he has tasted. I’m in Australia.
I eat curry 3 or 4 times a week thanks to your recipes, Latif. This looks like my next one. Thank you for doing what you do!

This recipe was absolutely delicious when I made it! I love how you have simplified the steps needed to create an authentic tasting recipe. This tasted exactly like restaurant quality. Thanks for an awesome video.
This is how I usually make chicken. Your recipes are actually No Nonsense-simple to make- home recipes. Always enjoy it
Thank you 😊
Just cooked and eaten this tonight, best meal I've eaten in a long time, the thickness of the sauce and the depth of flavour were excellent, thanks
