Guetterman Brothers Family Farm Field Day

Kansas Corn sponsored a 5-year research project conducted by Kansas State University to study soil differences between no-till and no-till with cover crops in a corn-soybean rotation on the Guetterman Brothers Family Farm in Northeast Kansas. In March 2022, the final year of the project, soil pits were dug beside each other in the studied field - one pit where cover crops had been grown, the other pit where no cover crops were grown. In this video, Candy Thomas, NRCS Regional Soil Specialist, shows the comparison of the two pits.
