The recapture of the Quaid Post by a small group of determined soldiers led by then Naib Subedar Bana Singh is counted among the finest military successes on the Siachen Glacier. Mr Nitin, appreciate your commitment towards bringing out great contribution of army to the knowledge of public at large. Soldiers are making tremendous sacrifices and its for us all to at least know that at what cost we are enjoying the freedom. But for army, the country and the hinterland would have gone the Pakistan way, for sure. It’s the army who is holding on the cross border terrorists and enemy at bay, not letting them in and not allowing them to disturb peace and tranquility in the nation.

We heard the news that Manmohan Government in 2005-06 was ready to give Siachen to Pakistan.
MMS Govt had an security adviser Rtd. Col.Ajai Shukla whose brother was an ARMS dealer & made millions of $$$ during Congress regime.
Mr.Shukla was a STOOGE of PAKISTANIS and he has convinced MMS Govt to hand over Siachen ...
Somehow, IA chief vehemently opposed the idea and it was water drowned!!!

Hey nitin sir, nice video and had already read your book Beyond NJ9842: The Siachen Saga many times. I have a question regarding the operation rajiv i.e. why Indian forces didn't captured Bana post just after holding passes in 1984. How did Pakistani allowed to control such a crucial post as shown in Pakistani drama Alpha Bravo Charlie.
