One thing I don't see on this site, and I don't know if this is because this isn't doable in game anymore or not, is a way to punch in long range scan values and see estimates of what it might contain?
Great Info Thanks. I can see how it can be very useful for multi person mining. Yet, seems a bit much for solo. By the time i've spent filling in the "paperwork" I could have gotten a run in ?🤷I'll pass it along to my Org👍👍
I was kind of half playing around this the other day as a solo miner which seems useful even then, but was hoping to see data charts as well in future maybe like rock type clusters and density. Very well made resource and maybe might even give me that final push to finally doing some crew mole mining.
Maybe I missed something, but if a scout finds and logs a rock cluster to mine, how do they mark the location so the miner can find and mine that cluster? Is there a way to mark the location of a cluster to return to the exact same spot later?
Right now they just have to wait, or they could share a delivery mission which will show the location of the package and just leave the package on location.
Ok, hopefully soon they can release some sort of coordinate system or beacons. Thank you for the content you put out also! It has been a game changer for me with mining in Star Citizen.@@RedMonsterSC
Pirates could get into a single unsecured session if you’re careless with your session share link but the account would only be hackable if your discord or google were also hacked and by then like Red says… bigger problems. No connection to the game files or RSI account though.
I'm going to throw this idea out there, you don't have to listen, but I really hope you do. Play the game however you want. Do what you think is fun. If you don't like mining, nobody is going to force you to do it. If you think bounty hunting is pointless, again, nobody is forcing you. Go off and enjoy whatever style you want. This game is a sandbox, and it helps to have tools like this when you're invested in a certain play style.

That is the number one requested feature. The minute someone shows me a reliable way to calculate it I’ll consider it for sure.

It will work on iPhone as a progressive web app you can save to your home screen but I will admit that mobile support still needs a lot of work

At that point I think you've got bigger problems. Regolith doesn't really give you access to game assets, thankfully.
