Just behind Robin's grave is a plaque commemorating Andy Gibb. Andy is actually interred at Forest Lawn Cemetery , Hollywood Hills Los Angeles. I'm glad you looked at the whole of Robin's headstone as it is so beautiful. I loved the BeeGees. Their music was so special and will be listened to for many generations.
Such a truly heart breaking thing to know precious Robin is no longer with us as fans but he’s forever going to be remembered as the great artist he was a truly sweet funny amazing man , he brought such a soulful sound through his great sings and sang from deep within him. He was truly a sweet beautiful amazing man and will forever be missed and loved
Hello user, what a lovely and heartfelt compliment you gave to Robin as usual, people like you highlight all the wonderful songs he made and I always then listen to them and get to know the artist more than I did when I made the film. He certainly had a beautiful voice and thank you for everything Alan
The headstone is beautiful ❤ when you were reading the songs on the back it suddenly gave me chills & has me in tears. Like you said, money cant save you. Poor Barry, losing his 3 brothers 😢 x
Absolutely Carol. I think that's got to be the moral of this video. There was so super wealthy but he can't make the difference. If you're unlucky, that's why we should be so grateful. I'm sorry it made you feel a little sad. I often feel the same way. Thank you, Alan
Hello Karen, a lot of people like the 60s music more than the disco, but it depends on your taste. Whatever they were great. Thank you for the comment Alan
Loved the bee gees never will there be voices and harmonies as good as theirs. Love the song alone and I started a joke. Robin was amazing mo was an incredible musician and Barry was Barry. All had a brilliant sense of humour especially Robin. All 3 Robin. Mo and Andy died so young 💔 it was heart breaking to see their mother at Robins funeral lost 3 sons and if I remember correctly a daughter also 💔. Their music will never die. I had a soft spot for Robin still watch them on UA-cam. Thanks so much for sharing this story Alan love from Holmfirth West Yorkshire 💙 💚
Hi Gill well that's really nice. You follow them closely. You know far more about them than me. I was a fan but like most people I tended to only know the hits but it is terribly sad out. They all died so young, especially the youngest brother Andy I didn't know that he was also very dead. Somebody told me afterwards. Do you think I should start visiting people that are staying alive because it's like everybody we remember...... 😜. Thank you as always. I'm just having a break brother at the moment but I'm missing blity but not the weather look after yourself Gill
Gill, their older sister Leslie is still alive and kicking in Australia. She was a bit older than Barry so she's probably between 78 and 79 years old with lots and lots of kids and grandkids!
The Bee Gees are my favourite group ever. When I was fifteen in 1967 we lived in a pub. My dad used to put the jukebox on free play for me when the pub was closed. I would listen to their songs over and over. Robin was my favourite he had the most beautiful haunting voice. Saved by the Bell, New York Mining Disaster, Words. They were just the best.
I am from the UK 🇬🇧 but I live in Brisbane Australia 🇦🇺 and I saw Barry open the Bee Gees walk/way and there is a bronze statue of them plus loads of photos including Andy Gibb and it plays all the Bee Gees songs. Alan or your subscribers if you are able to get to Brisbane then visit it as it’s a lovely tribute in the city where they first started with their music 🎶.
Thanks Alan thankyou for this video I’ve watched people do robins grave so many times and it still breaks my heart that something so cruel could take someone so beautiful and talented he was a georgeous human being and the most talented for me a very sad loss thankyou robin rip thankyou Alan ❤️😊

Another good one Alan such a shame and no age was he, the chemistry was so right between them, harmonys were spot on, i didnt no until recently about the younger brother Andy who started out with a lot of promise had some success but then succome to the the dreaded cocaine habit that killed him at a young age of 30 Again really sad and such a waist of talent, he could have had a brilliant solo career. Thanks Alan

Just fell in love with you, Alan, and your great video paying respect to this wonderful man. I just wanted to let you know that I immediately subscribed to your channel. I'm 70 years old and Robin has been in my life since day one when they came on the scene in 1967. It was his ethereal voice and beautiful vibrato that drew me to them in the very beginning and I still love this man with all my heart and soul. Thank you. Continue to RIP sweet, sweet angel. 😇 🙏

Watch out for you have a lovely weekend. Alan much love to you.
Yes the Bee Gees were great. A lot of sadness though Maurice died suddenly then Andy Gibb the youngest brother who had some success as a singer in his own right died from drug addiction and then Robin died early too. Their songs are memorable and they were so talented . R.I.P.

Hello, Eric are used to read a lot of psychology and I do believe every word that I say, but even I forget sometimes where human it helps a great deal to put things in perspective and enjoy instead of needlessly spoiling hower lives. Thank you
Well done Alan. Another well documented, and informative video. It’s great that you can add a bit of humour, into an otherwise solemn occasion. I had the great pleasure of meeting Robin, when I won a competition to have dinner with him, ( and other music personalities ) He was an absolute fantastic guy. You missed the memorial headstone to his brother Andy, which lies just beyond the tree, behind Robins grave! And, a bit of trivia for you, the house that Robin lived in, opposite his grave (in the village of Thame) was where the death warrant for Joan Of Arc was signed 👍
Hi Arfa What's a wonderful, interesting memory? You'll be one of the few people that can say they're actually met Robin I got a free dinner.... When they've lived in the spotlight all their life, it must be difficult to get down with the working ones ☺️ I know his brother Barry I'm interviews is extremely down to earth so thank you for the very interesting comment and it just shows you the edge of that building. Hello Colin I should put my messages on the channel where I'm going. I'll do that in future. It would have been lovely to meet you hopefully in the future. Alan
Hi Alan hope you are well and thanks for this new vid, a few people have done Robin,s resting place but I've never seen the names of the songs etched into the back of his gravestone before so well done for pointing that out! Did you mean to say Thank you Robin ?as you walked away? You said thank you Barry. All the best mate
Hello Roger, he's got to be the most elaborate stone but very tasty done. And regarding the parting shot I never know it's thank you for telling me. I'm sure Robin wood understand
My partner & I have visited his grave recently. I was wondering if you were going to read the edge & back of the stone with all those song titals etched onto the 'ribbons'. Pitty you didn't walk ahead as only a few yards ahead of his grave is a stone dedicated to Andy Gibb, also if you continue on & turn left there is a black head stone where the actress Elizabeth Sprigs is buried. You could have had 3 for the price of 1. It's easy to go right up to the house & have a good look. Go to Plaistow, there are MANY famous people there including a boxer, the actress Queenie Watts, Elizabeth Stride (3rd Jack the Roper victim), supposed to be 2 other actresses there but I've yet to see them or had it confirmed.
Hello David, I'll have to start looking around more when I'm there. I do recognize the actress Queenie and if I'm in the area again I'll continue. Thank you for the information. Much appreciated. I didn't realize you'd be okay to approach the house. I thought they might get a bit annoyed but okay. Well done. Alan
@MotorHomeBeepBeep Hi, So many cemetries have more than 1 person worth visiting & recording a 'piece to camara'. Always worth looking around or do more research of the cemetery before you go, saves a return journey. London cemetery has 2 Jack the Ripper victims as well as Bobby Moore & some actors. Good luck. Thanks for the uploads
Thank you Chris for that. Hey, Google there and I do recognise it. She's quite a well-known actress. If I ever gone there again I will all the best down one
@MotorHomeBeepBeep I keep intending to visit Robin Gibb. Been to Caron Keating and Brian Jones' graves. Plus hundreds of military graves. Keep up the good work.
I watched the interview and Anderson was appalling he set out to bait them and I don't blame them for walking off. I'm not a big lover of the Bee Gee's, each unto their own but It was very bad journalism. There was no need for the insults.
Alan here is one for you, E. Lawrence, also known as Lawrence of Arabia, died in a motorcycle accident and was buried on May 21st 1935 in the cemetery annexe of St Nicholas Church, Moreton, just a few miles from his home at Clouds Hill in Dorset.

Don’t forget Thora hird
So see money is ant everything health comes first
100%. Ken
I feel like Robin's grave is just on the side of the road. Is that so his fans can easily view it? 😇🙏
Probably because it has a view to his lovely home nearby.
Wonder where his other brothers are laid to rest.
Andy is buried in California.
Actress Elizabeth Spriggs is buried in the same churchyard.
Robin was the same age as me. He died far too young.
They used yo write songs for others apparently as well
Yes, I'm not sure which but you're correct
I remember Kenny Everett taking the mickey out of the Bee Gees , back in the day 😊
I watched the interview and Anderson was appalling he set out to bait them and I don't blame them for walking off. I'm not a big lover of the Bee Gee's, each unto their own but It was very bad journalism. There was no need for the insults.
It used to have the attitude that it was somebody smart because he was a solicitor annoying guy
Alan here is one for you,
E. Lawrence, also known as Lawrence of Arabia, died in a motorcycle accident and was buried on May 21st 1935 in the cemetery annexe of St Nicholas Church, Moreton, just a few miles from his home at Clouds Hill in Dorset.
Thank you Colin. I've done a screenshot. I'm looking to that tomorrow
