    Great video man, and good perspective about doing what works for you. It's so true the things you are hitting on with conflicting information/etc. Keep killin' it and creating content! What size is your mini-split (in BTUs) if you don't mind sharing? Appreciate you man!

      I THINK it's a 14,000BTU Ducted mini split. Before that I had the cheapest window unit at home depot, and used that to condition the air outside of my fruiting room. Thank you for watching

    Thanks for taking the time to walk through your fruiting room! Do you have a floor drain or just a good mop? lol. Curious about managing the waste water, after pressure washing.

      Eric! Learn from my mistake and install a drain. Check out our cleaning video for more info on how we do it.
      Thanks

    How many different mushroom types do you grow in one room? I heard other growers say having different rooms is better for different species. Is there a Goldilocks zone for multiple mushrooms?

      We grow probably 6 at the same time, but 3 or 4 are usually pleurotus. I believe that you can grow a variety of mushrooms as long as the temp is 60-70f, and the humidity can get up to 95%, but drop back down to like 85% when they are fruiting.

    do you ever put bags into the fruiting room and they dont fruit but theyre fully colonized? if so, why do you think this is?

    • @harmonymushroomco
      @harmonymushroomco  8 місяців тому

      Could be a lot of different issues - If the temperature / humidity isn't right is the most common, but I have had other instances where they took forever, what species are you growing and where did you get the spawn?

    Nice video. I have the same shelves but I cannot find the wheels. Where did you buy them?

    what do you use to clean, since no bleach/hyd peroxide? just pressure washer?

    • @harmonymushroomco
      @harmonymushroomco  9 місяців тому

      Just water, bleach when necessary, but the pressure washer works great!

    Nice vid thank you. About Hart misting systems: We have struggled with that equipment for months and decided we don't like it, going back to foggers. The reason is contrary to what you said in the video, the atomized water particles from Hart Env. nozzles are not finer that the ultrasonic fog. They are bigger, hence leaving a lot more water on the floors, on mushrooms, prompting blotch outburst etc.

      This is super interesting! I was watching a video that said the hart nozzles make smaller particles - but there is always different info out there. Thanks so much for sharing!

    Dude did you seriously use steel roofing on your growroom walls? Have you never heard of chloroplast? It would have been way cheaper, easier, and better

    • @harmonymushroomco
      @harmonymushroomco  10 місяців тому +3

      I think you mean Coroplast?
      cheaper =/= better. Not everyone wants the cheapest option. Coroplast lacks the durability that I wanted. Of course, do what works for you! if you have used it and you like it, That's perfect.
      Thanks!

    hey, nice room, how often do you evacuate the air? I have a wild strain of pleurotus ostreatus and it grows like it has no air at all, I grew it outside and is fine, made a huge crop on unsupplemented straw pellets ( 1.6kg at first flush). My fans evacuate the air 10 times per hour, it does not seem to be enough. I have 2 fans, one is pushing air in and the other is taking air out. Can you give me some advice?

    • @harmonymushroomco
      @harmonymushroomco  10 місяців тому

      Sounds like fresh air might not be the problem, are they getting enough light? we exchange the air twice per hour. obviously without seeing everything it can be harder for me to troubleshoot
      thanks

      @@harmonymushroomco seems like the problem is the humidity, combined with high air current and low temp. I tought it was the air. I found out in this video after some searching ua-cam.com/video/80T-tvutXAs/v-deo.html&ab_channel=%D0%9B%D0%B0%D1%80%D0%B8%D1%81%D0%B0%D0%A2%D0%B5%D1%81%D0%BB%D0%B5%D0%BD%D0%BA%D0%BE%D0%B2%D0%B0

      I get them from webstaurantstore. They are expensive so I have slowly built up my collection. different racks can work, probably cheaper! let me know
