By far, the best knitting instructor on UA-cam, bar none. I’m now diving into mosaic👍🏻

I did this many years ago, doing lots of different patterns but really felt lost trying to remember how I did it in Barbara Walker's books, luckily I thought of UA-cam, now I can finish my mitten cuffs! Thanks for the video! It gives hope to us senior citizens who forgot how to do it.

I love your mosaic videos, I want to try it. I’m looking for boot cuffs in this design. Do you have any suggestions?

To tell you the truth, this is a very simple design. You can use some graph paper and draw it out. You can adjust to any number of stitches so it can fit your boot cuff. Experiment, do a swatch. Hugs and Happy Knitting.

I so enjoy your videos and knitting demonstrations - easy to follow and a wealth of information! I was wondering about how to do mosaic in the round from a chart. (would like to make a headband) Would you do round 1 from row 1 of the chart, then round 2 as per row 3 of the chart (and so on) until the chart is completed.? So that you alternate the colour you are using each round? thank you for your help.

When working mosaic stitch in the round, you still need to work all of the "rows". The chart usually has one "row" which represents two "rows" a RS and WS. When converting to in the round, you still need to work all of those "rows". so the first RS row would be worked as charted, the WS row would now become a RS row - so you would need to reverse it and work it from right to left on the chart, plus you would need to make it purls and slip with the yarn in the back. Also, you would eliminate the column of stitches outside of the repeat box. Let me know if this helps you.

@@SuzanneBryan thank you suzanne - I may have figured it out once I tried it and realized it wasn't working out as per my idea - haha. Totally understand your explanation and appreciate your time to make sure I will head in the right direction to have a good result.

You are a very good instructor, like the details of all of it. You don't leave any confusion of how to make it
