Perfect timing! I am currently working on a mosaic project in my class. Unfortunately, due to the virus, classes are suspended so this is great! A refresher when I need it, although my teacher taught me well as she always does! This is fun to work on! Now I’m going to check out the crochet version! Thanks for sharing Marly!!
Waiting for my yarn to be delivered. This is going to be so much fun and learning so many new stitches! Thanks Marly for including these videos. It makes it look doable.
Started this tonight, using the written instructions first before I attempt to use the chart only. I’m a bit concerned that the edges of scarf look untidy - any suggestions?
I finished my first section. The sides look pretty rough. I’ve never knitted with running the yarn up the side, there must be a trick to making it neat and consistent. Can you help, please? Thanks
When I do mosaic, the slipped stitch pulls up -- probably "puckers" is the right term. Is that supposed to happen? I try putting in a yarn-over but that doesn't always work right either. It works better for having 2 or 3 slipped stitches together, with just one yo. What am I doing wrong? Thanks.
Hello Marly, Iam writing you you in the hope I can get a reply for my question, which isn't addressed anywhere in utube land. I know how to calculate the multiples for a crochet a pattern in rows, however, do we use the same formula to calculate the multiples in a pattern in the round? If not, what is the formula? Who might be able to give me an answer?
I downloaded the pattern and had it printed at Staples. It was blurred and pretty much unreadable. I routinely have patterns printed at Staples with excellent results so I'm not sure what the problem is Others apparently were able to have the pattern and follow the tutorial so I'm not sure why I am having this problem. Any suggesttions would be helpful, TY
Can I ask where you downloaded the pattern so I can check into it? If you want to reach out to our customer support that would be the best. contact @ marlybird (dot) com
I do not think it is necessary. Plus, this in't like fair isle. You could catch the floats when you use the next color and knit them together with the stitch on the next row but that will also pull on the floats and pull the stitches on either side of the slipped stitches making them pucker.
Just what I needed ,many 🙏🏾 thanks 🙏🏾 .Very clear thanks 😊 😘😘😘
I used all the mosaic patterns and made a twin xl blanket for my grandson and a throw for a dear friend of mine. I loved how they turned out

Can I start this week or am I too late? (I hope the kit is still available or are there other colors too?)
You can start any time. And you can choose any colors you wish.

When knitting can you do a 2 color gingham?
You can do Intarsia, I'm not sure if that is the same thing.
Areu on right or wrong pattern doesnt specify
Question: can this be done with a C2C chart?... thank you in advance 🙂
I made a baby blanket c2c but I do not know how to post photograph here
I would like to use a C2C pattern to knit it.. is that what you have done using this technique? Thank you for replying
I haven’t tried it before so I’m not sure.
why do you not tack down long floats?
I do not think it is necessary. Plus, this in't like fair isle. You could catch the floats when you use the next color and knit them together with the stitch on the next row but that will also pull on the floats and pull the stitches on either side of the slipped stitches making them pucker.
