Awesome.. This was very informative.. One suggestion. You could have used a tripod to place the camera instead of holding it in the hand. Would have been easier to shoot the work. Also, Thanks for sharing the workshop manual. I wanted to know if you could share the workshop manual for the non UG version too? As this manual does not cover entirely.
Will consider tripod in future for sure but it's difficult to show different angles with tripod and for the workshop manual sadly I don't have access to non-ug one 😔
Dude..iam planning to buy a used 2021 model 4500 km odo... Ridden doninar 400... For 1.6 lakh. What your opinion on the same. The warranty is void as 2nd service was not done by the current owner within a year. Overall bike looks good. What's your opinion?.. Share your no..if I can connect with you ?

salaam alaikum brother! I have a problem, please help. give me advice. I have a 2022 Bajaj Dominar 400 with 7000 miles. I was driving 150/160 km per hour, suddenly the engine began to stall while driving, did not respond to the gas, when the speed dropped to 20/30, the motorcycle started moving again, but a metallic knock appeared. I think if these were tubes, the sound would appear over time. and for me everything happened in one moment. What could it be?
Alaikum as-salam brother by any chance you were riding while it's raining or wet? If that's the case ignition coil does that sometimes otherwise get it checked by some reputed ktm/bajaj mechanic.
Yar pehle me jab 6k rpm se uupr ya uspr chalata tha to sound kafi heavy hoti thi but ab vesi awaaz nhi ban ri engineoil vgr sab timely change hua koi bta skta h kyu? 2017 model
reasons kafi ho sakte hai clutch plates/ valve clearances/ worn timing chain / piston, ring, block conditions. pehle air filter/air box se check karna shuru karo exhaust tak kahi kuch damaged toh nahi.
Bajaj and KTM use baaically the same engine with minor differences. Yet those minor differences are big enough that these bikes have all sorts of unwanted noises from the engine while the ktms dont. Those differences gentlemen, are cost cutting measures. Dominar 400 is the bike plagued with this issue the most.
Ktms do have same problems I would say its the other way around only difference is their service centers they know how to work on bike(at least where I live) but bajaj's are helpless & avoid some crucial service checks which results in problems. Whole >d390 series is a cost cutting measure hence made in India.
@@scram911 that is true. The best thing to do is to find a competent fng or take it to KTM service. Or you know, just DIY that bitch. If one has the guts and experience. Don't start with the Bajaj service guys😂 they have a phd in how to ruin a perfectly running bike
@@scram911 while I've never owned a ktm myself, all Dukes I've ridden did not have any engine noise even when servicing was overdue. Bajaj dominar on the other hand always had that ticking that never really goes away even with fresh red engine oil and xp fuel
Funny you say they had already ruined my perfectly running dom by setting cam timing exhaust wrong you can see my old video it was sounding like ktm with serious power lag. and on the ktm part I've heard most ktm's with that tensioner noise that tickling you get when it's in operating temperature do note though these sounds will be more prominent with bikes running more than 10k kms.
First gen dom was more bajaj than ktm hence free of those ktm inherited problems that's my opinion it was also making less power than these that could also be the reason behind it.

Hi so the problem is the loose timing chain ? Can that be fixed by a tensioner replacement?
only if timing chain is not stretched like in my case
