Yamato holds such a special place in my heart. I didn't discover it until 2012 when I started college. In my first one and a half years, I was pretty much beaten into submission with my grades. I was attempting engineering and just could not get a grip on the math or other classes. Pretty much down to my last breath (as Earth was in the series), I switched to business, but to get into the school, I'd essentially have to ace every midterm for the next two years and even then, that would be only potentially giving me a fighting chance to get in Well, that pretty much happened. Just as the crew of the Yamato some how defied all challenges and fought against immeasurable odds, I was able to get my GPA up and sure enough by my 4th year I got into business school and won the day. Earth (my GPA) was restored, mental health rebuilding, and just through the trials I had emerged a better person. ....and then a couple months later I suffered a huge loss in the family and once again I found myself fighting through challenges (parallels the comet empire arriving), so yeah, this series really just speaks to me!
I couldn't ever find the OS until recently I'm looping it. I heard it in season three and knew it had to be out there. Even my friend was shocked when I told him I heard it
For some reason I listen to the Yomato score while reading Berserk, and every time Griffith has the stare and is on that bullshit, this is the intense theme
As a french i alway was suprised by the fact this show is so unknown since Albator is almost more popular in France than in japan ( maybe even more ). I mean the same guy made the two.

Leiji Matsumoto legend will always be remembered
Sehr epischer Soundtrack
Passt so gut und rundet eine geniale space Opera ab.
Una grande, meravigliosa melodia... A great, wonderful melody
the melody is very similar to the 7th symphony from beethoven, I love it
The beginning sounds almost like a soundtrack out of a ghibli production... very nice!
yeah :D like from totoro or laputa :)
@@mehmetgurdal It reminds me of the Laputa theme a little.
think how much you have to study the past if you wanna do as joe hisaishi
guys i almost have the lyrics figured out
it's either
"la la la la la la la la la"
or "ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha"

E incrível que em 2024 tem pessoas que ainda lembram desse anime no Brasil
Doesn't it remind you of some kind of sovietic song?
clearly influenced by Russian classical/romantic school so yeah!
