That thing really throws the snow!.... down here we got a little over an inch with a ton of rain. On Wednesday its going to be 60 degrees!...Gotta love Wisconsin weather!!!!!!
Rear suitcase weights help with steering (counter weigts the blower) i have three on the rear and takes all the slipping away too I have the xt1 gt50. 3x blower going on my third year here in northern lower michigan. Just put the cub cadet cab on today and swapped out the drive v belt for the blower. Lower belt still looks great. Get really wet snow towards spring time a lot of work for the blower. I have blowen snow almost over the blower with no issues (obviously only taking 1/4-1/2 the blower widrh at a time depending how heavy it is) i also have drift cutters on the sides. Live across from an open field.
About an inch of rain where I live followed by maybe 0.2 inches of snow. All gone by this afternoon. I didn't touch my driveway or sidewalk and I'm glad I didn't waste my time cause it all melted!
Does this not work in wet snow? I tried it yesterday in about 6inches of kind of wet snow and it didn’t work at all. It only got clogged. Is it possible something wasn’t spinning fast enough.
Hi, I’m in Canada winnipeg I have the same setup but the XT2 46 with blower. It s being really nasty to start in -25 cels any suggestions none heated garage thanks
I have the same issues I keep a salamander heater close by I put a cover over it raise the seat and direct the heat where it warms it quickly a starts right up after about 10 minutes I'm thinking part of it is the seat sensor also thaw's out the cable's that tends to freeze up and I use a metal milk crate and rachet straps and rocks on back as the weight instead of spending more money for weights
I had a JD gx345 and my wife kept getting me drives to plow or blow so if this keeps up we are getting a bigger outfit. Got a Kubota BX2360 4-wheel drive and does a lot better than the JD

Yes we're supposed to get rain on Wednesday. This week will be hard on the ice

Love this video for one reason, you are the onlguy on here that uses common sense when moving snow!!!
I have the same lawn tractor and have been eyeing a snowblower attachment for a while. Looks like it works pretty good.
Only had a couple of flurries here & that's ok with me at my age. I use a 62 bolens with a plow & a husqvarna blower when needed .
My dad used to plow with an old bolens

The worst part of all this snow is what it's doing to the ice
Almost no ice here to start with, but yah up north some of the lakes won't recover now all winter.
Nice! I run an old Gravely Professional G Tractor Model 987070 16 hp. I would love a Ventrac! But the price..OUCH! :) Hello from Vermont
Yeah those Ventracs are nice but they don't give them away that's for sure. Thanks for watching!
Thanks dan. Hell ya

I guess I'm not sure. Typically snowblower don't work as good in the wet snow but I haven't had any issues so far.
how do you think it will do on a steep
grade driveway
I'm considering getting one of those attachments for my XT2. How reliable has the snowblower been for you? Is it low maintenance? TIA!
We have one at my job and it’s fine. I would order a backup belt to have on hand, since it is belt drive.

@@alfredwright4211 thanks Alfred
it is the 22 HP or 18
Being an outdoor dude, what do you carry for a pocket knife? Others chime in too! I am a benchmade dude myself!
Put a weight bracket on and 2-3 weights. That slipping will all but go away. You can thank me later. Good vid.
