  • After back and forth with Fuel Moto I was able to get the right time for my bike after upgrading to stage 2. The bike is way better and has noticeable power.

Good and informative. Thank you . I’ve gotten my PV3 and have been to reluctant to try it because I am not very tec Smart . But now after your 2 videos I feel like I may be able to do it .
Oh yeah , the slack is for disengagement of the cruise . That’s how I use it . Works well . Thank you for making these videos Brother

Had that stalling problem on a new 2019 Roadmaster. It was the neutral position switch not being fully plugged in. Nothing to do with ecu. The way to test this is leave bike in gear and pull clutch lever in and then try and start the bike. If it will not start in gear with clutch pulled in it’s the switch.

Very informative video sir. I just added the 116 big bore kit to my 18 Chieftain so will see how the Indian tune performs before going with the pvcx. Looks fairly straight forward. Thanx for sharing.

I was told that little bit of play in the throttle was to roll the throttle forward to cancel the cruise control instead of applying the brake. Handy dandy, not slacky wacky.

Yes. Either way will be fine. But safety wise. I prefer the brake because if you have a car behind you and you cancel the cruise control with the throttle this will slow the bike down without the brake light and that can be dangerous. This is why the brake is the best. And doing this always will be your default

@@Cometocanadabut I only mention because so many believe that there is either something mechanically wrong or ill designed, not knowing that it is purpose built / bespoke.

I have a 2019 Chieftain and when I purchased it I had the stage 3 kit installed. To me the bike does not run right.

    Do you recommend FMDJ?

I think it depends. If I will upgrade with Indian parts like Indian Stage 1,2,3 etc. I rather use the Indian tuning. If I will upgrade with aftermarket parts I highly recommend FMDJ.Regardless, they are great people to work with and they know what they’re doing.

I have stage 2 with Indian parts and tuning, dose it worth the 400USD for tuning? I want to unleash the potential of the motor

To be honest, I didn’t notice too much difference. My bike still quitting from time to time. I would say, better to tune it with a good local DJ shop. Not too many understand Indians because most of them are Harley’s shops. But in both cases, you need to get the DJ device. Also, every bike is different. Although it’s the same model and year, Indian bikes act differently from bike to bike. Do I see a value in having it? No. The real value if I upgrade to 116.
My strategy is not going crazy about upgrade and speed because I did a lot of that in my previous bikes. If I want power and speed I wouldn’t buy American VTwin bikes. I rather buy sport or Japanese bikes if this is my goal. But it’s a personal preference.
