Good job James. The pit had some but the surrounding area definitely had more, plus easier digging, nice. Thanks for the cool videos James, way to go buddy.
Thanks Morgan, I think that place has more hiding in the bushes and under trees, still easier than digging through the concrete dirt in the hole. Cheers mate!👍👍
The total amount of gold for the 3 days was nice👍🏻. The ground in the hole looked as hard as concrete, detecting around the area seemed to be a lot more profitable. Really nice set of 3 vid's James.
I agree Ross, it was really hard in the hole. If I had detected everywhere else than it would make sense but the big one could be just around the corner! 👍👍 thanks for tuning in!!
Damn j to da M ya got a wicked amount all up butvyeah out of the hole seems to have the larger stuff. Theres going to be something huge around there. Great video good sir
Hi Jame great finds , all the digging is a great work out for those back muscles , been over on last week tassie school found a couple of bit . Stayed in armstrong creek travelled quite a few klms every day didn't find anything close to armstrong . Cheers see you at Pete's
its what makes you happy pal, enjoy both, no one else can tell u whats best, mif one piece recharges the batteries, then so be it. continue happy hunting👍
Well thanks for answering that question! Glad it was your back breaking work that did it mate! Wicked few days though, bloody good gold dude. Thanks for the adventure, what a grouse ride it was. Wicked! ❤it 😊
Glad I could help Andy 😁 I love that place and it’s been good to me so it was a pleasure filming there. I appreciate your support mate. Catch you in a couple weeks 👍👍
Been gunna do the same myself in a gully where i have found some nice sub gram bits and a few over a gram. Little hesitant now. Might just dryblow a couple of piles instead and detect as i go. Cheers for the effort man....Its given me a good idea of what to expect. Love your videos. Keep it up mate you are doing an awesome job 👌
Much appreciated mate! I think you’re right, taking of the top soil is easy but digging into what the old timers dug doesn’t seem to pay that well. You would probably be better off starting your own hole from scratch. Best of luck out there Nathan and thanks for watching 👍👍
@piratescrew1869 Always wanted to dig my own around good spots. Now you've loaded me up with a shit load of work lol. Your vids are really informative and show what it's really like for guys like us and that is what makes them so good. Luv ya work dude keep it up 👍
Great video and lovely gold haul. Lovely spot. Very interesting exercise in the loaming hole. Excuse the pun…Does the area that you are in have a history of small gold or is there a potential for much bigger pieces? If bigger gold has been found in the area and the old timers did leave some shiny in your loaming pit then it’s possible a nice one could be hiding just out of detector range in one of the other holes as there seems to be a fair amount of gold in that area.
Thank you, I really like that area and it seems to surprise me most times I go there but only with smaller gold, so far! It’s not a big area and I’ve probably only detected around 20% of it and only ever with the 6000 so a bigger bit might be around the corner! I do intend to go back over some of it with a friends GPZ soon! Cheers 👍👍

Nice James, great gold count there at the end mate, but don't you think your just showing off a little, your just a gold magnet and golds not even magnetic 🤣👍🧲 Cheers mate
It would be rude of me to show all these videos from the same place and not show the total at the end 😁 it would be nice if I could just stick a 7 gramer on the scales at the end so I didn’t have to ff the gold weigh in 🤣 Thanks Pete
Wel brother that was brilliant top top job cracking finds 👍 Ashwell ways even tiny bit do me
Thanks heaps! It’s been a great little area for me and nice and close to where I was working! Cheers and good luck out there👍👍

After 4 gold panning trips I'm still sitting on about .1 grams. Luck is not on my side yet
Even though this spot seems great it took 10 not so good trips to find so keep at it and you’ll enjoy success soon enough!! I hope!! 👍👍
@@piratescrew1869 Yeah, good advice. If prospecting was easy, everyone would be rich I guess
Great video!
Thanks Kev! It was a good little adventure. Cheers 👍👍
Is it worth panning the dirt from the bottom of the looming pit.
Was thinking the same the stuff on top of that clay lol
There’s no water there but yes it would be worth a look! Also the gravel in the cut below the pit looks amazing!
