Waiting on mine to come in. Excited to try it out.
Have fun!
Got a question :) On your komodo, how long do you get out of it? Also, have you ever tried the Fxlion Nano, is it smaller? Which one feels more durable to be tossed or dropped? The shinny bit on the smallrig makes me wonder...
How long a Gh6 and an Atomos V monitor will last?
How many hrs straight can you record with this batteries powering a camera and a monitor at the same time? Please let me know thanks
Lots of great features, love the screw mounts in the V-bracket.
But wow, the price; you really pay for the compactness. I can buy 2 normal size batteries and a plate for that much.
I have the VB50 and use with my Canon R5C. The only problem I have is that, when I turn the camera off and then need to turn back on, it doesn't connect. the R5C starts using the Canon battery in camera...I have to unplug the usb-c cable and plug back in to battery for it to start working....With the FXLion Nano One and Two, I don't have this issue...Just wondering if you have the same issue?
I have not had this issue. I am not sure what is going on there?
@@MarcosRochaTV With the R5C? I used it several times before having to return it…Maybe just a rare issue.
Use a dummy battery unless you need 8k60
How are the d tap ports, are they well constructed?
Yeah nice and snug! On the other hand, I have the Tilta power adapter to V-Mount on my Komodo and they are super loose.
Saw you use it on red Komodo. Did it red approved? Can you see time and percentage on camera?
RED doesn't approve any of my V-mounts which is very annoying. I haven't had any issues using "unapproved batteries." You don't see the percentage left on the camera itself.
@@MarcosRochaTV It's a pity, I thought at least these would be.
It's very annoying that there is no understanding of the charge level. Although you can track it by voltage.
@@Road2Hollywood This entirely depends on the battery plate you're using. All vmount batteries will behave the same, but all red approved plates will give percentage readout. One example is the tilta advanced battery plate
Does this battery charge through the USB-C?
Yes
Iam a owner of the Canon EOS R5C. How long you can shoot with this battery?
vb 50 is like 2.5 hours at 60fps. i would guess 5 or 6 hours?
A studip question, but how to recharge it ? With USB-C ? Thanks a lot ! :)
I would get a V-Mount charger
@@MarcosRochaTV Did you charge this with a dual IndiPro v-mount charger? I'm thinking about switching to these SmallRig batteries but wondering if they are compatible with my charger and I use the same IndiPro batteries as you. It's weird that smallrig doesn't seem to sell their own charger, and not all v-mount chargers are compatible with other brands. Thanks!
Does not last
nothing special.
Overpriced as hell.
@@dantolino1093 Isn't everything in the camera world...
With that kind of response you should change your name to smugmug... lol 😆
@@Acura1NSX i was talking about the battery not about your video production. Sorry i got your feelings hurt so bad.
It's not my video production and you still know very little about professional batteries it seems.
An ordinary V-Mount battery with no breakthrough in technology
Exactly. Only extraordinary feature is the ridiculously high price.
Ridiculously expensive, makes no sense at all.
You obviously are not familiar with broadcast batteries... these are not expensive, lol.
