      @@RobertSilverPhotography thank you! Will definitely check these out! I usually stick with SmallRig in helping build my rig. Except the MatteBox.. been looking at Tilta and their products recently. But SmallRig is still my go to! Can’t beat their quality for the most part.

    The Official TSA Website (and FAA Regulations) indicate the Restriction on Rechargeable Lithium Ion batteries is 100Wh or less per battery for passenger Carry-On (no limit on the # of batts); with airline approval, passengers may also carry up to two spare larger lithium ion batteries (101-160 Wh) ; chargers, power banks, etc are considered a single battery. These larger batts may also be carried in checked luggage - also with prior airline approval.

    Good job. I just might buy👏 I guess my concerns are how durable is it? Will I have some kind of overheating issue or fire hazard Kind of thing going on? I love saving money but those are the questions in the back of my head

    • @RobertSilverPhotography
      @RobertSilverPhotography  5 місяців тому +1

      Thank you. A very solid concern. Im my experience so fart I havent gotten any over heating issues. I filmed using this battery for two days back-to-back on my short film set - worked and charged up so easily. Lasting each day on a single charge (of course I charged it at the end of each day). SO far so good. But of course, time will tell.

    Awesome review!! loving the rig too! I'm new to videography, i was wondering if you can answer my question. I've always wondered with these types of rigs/setups, how do you get access to your led monitor since it is in front of the battery? In particular for things like touch/track focus?

    • @RobertSilverPhotography
      @RobertSilverPhotography  5 місяців тому

      Great question. In general, the monitor would be mounted on top of the rig to the top handle.
      Some field monitors are touch screens but in general, I would adjust the tracking directly on the camera's rear monitor. Usually, I would have it flipped out to the side and then have the V-Mount battery pressed up against the back of the camera.
      When I'm filmmaking I shoot a manual so I wouldn't be accessing the monitor to adjust the AF/tracking.
      I hope this helps in any way. Thanks for watching my video.

      @@RobertSilverPhotography that’s awesome, thanks so much! That makes sense! Do you also have access to all your dials? In particular iso dial that’s in front of the v mount?

    How did you like this one over the Smallrig V mount? Debating on what I want to get from Smallrig or Neewer

    • @RobertSilverPhotography
      @RobertSilverPhotography  4 місяці тому

      I bought this one due to the price and looking at the specs; both are the same and the inputs are the same. I love it. I've used hem on a wedding, and film set, and just did a commercial shoot for a fitness gym - zero issues. I'm going to another pickup. Personally, I can't complain - amzn.to/3Ijt2Gj

    *This sums up what I'm going to get. The Smallrig can't ship to Alaska nor can the ZGCINE and Ebay was thee only place I could find one but with the Neewer it CAN ship here AND it's the same price as ZGCINE and that makes it's easy for me and I can still use my Dummy Battery or Not and that's all I need*

      I'm glad this video helped in any way.
      As I explained, it has all the features of the SmallRig but way cheaper. I just used it this past week during two days of production. During a full day of shooting multiple scene for my short film, it never went less than 32% by the end of the day. Well worth the money

    Excellent video Robert, im new to video so please excuse me for all the questions. Where do I get a "Dummy Battery"? and what Small Rig V Mount Plate did you use? Also do you use a microphone for the Rig for the wedding Video Shoot? Lastly do you recormment the Hollyland Monitor or Feelworld for a newbie?

    • @RobertSilverPhotography
      @RobertSilverPhotography  5 місяців тому

      Hi Piye, these are all great questions.
      1) depends on your kind of camera. I have found duymmy batteries for Lumix and Nikon both on Amazon. You can by the plate here amzn.to/49mKA06
      2) Yes, I will use either the RODE VideoPro + or the DJI Lav mics for weddings depending on the need (RODE shotgun for walking, lav for interviews)
      3) As for the monitor, that really depends on your budget. If you can, go with the Hollyland; colors, brightness, bluetooth wireless transmission and features are AWESOME! amzn.to/4bLIQzm
      Hope this all helps!

      Yes, if you plan on using a v-mount battery you'll need use either of the two plates that I mentioned. The benefits out weighs any cons; like additional weight.
