One Hunt (Public Water Limits)

Erik Boykin takes Porter and I out west with hopes of green. We Travel 8 states before realizing we went to far and the water was locked up. The geese had a small hole opened up in the middle but no chance of hunting them. We get in the truck and head 6 hours south to find the migration in full swing. This was a veteran move by Erik, we built a blind and waited for the opener the following morning. This would be our last day and our first hunt... after killing our limit of mallards and 3 bonus ducks, an emotional moment happened, 9 years of hunting and I killed my first 3 man mallard limit. Erik Boykin is a true sportsman and one hell of a duck hunter! Thank you for letting us experience your Fowl Life!
