SC Duck Hunt - Kayak Hunt on Public Water

I took the kayak out on the lake here in SC for some duck hunting. I ended doing pretty well and killed my limit on wood ducks. It was a fun hunt and great way to end the season.

if you go through Indiana on your out west, and want a place to park your camper, i have a few acres in back. If we have ice by then, maybe you could shoot an ice fishing vid, or atleast pop a few rabbits or something

Charles Howell I could be. I’m right handed but I can do a lot of things left-handed. I’ve shot lots of deer left-handed. At the gym a lot of times my left side is stronger than my right side.

Anybody got tips for scouting in sc. just so much water I’m not sure where to start

Go out and ride the water looking for birds and seeing where you jump birds. Give up days hunting and sit in the middle of big open areas at first and last light. Sit where you can see a long ways and make notes of where you see birds coming and going. Make notes as much where you see birds as where you don’t see birds.
