Hmmm... The yellow called, I answered. Ordered during this review. If only I had self control! 🤣
Snap ha ha
It is always great when the manufacturer made an effort to find appropriate movement for the watch, but not just leave it with a ghost date. Shows responsibility and attention to details. While, of course, I admit that there are great watches with the ghost movement because companies also need to bring us value for money
Here we go again with that throwback intro sound clip! I am digging the production value of your vids! Side by sides, zoom in and out, label pops, great macro, matching backgrounds! It is just a pleasure watching the vids in your channel! Great effort and it shows! Watch is awesome no doubt and I think NH38 at this price still competes against other offerings.
I like titanium watches and have 3 of them. The RZE is a fresh design but I'm done with both divers and larger watches
That yellow dial is gorgeous and everything else seems like a pretty unique and well thought out version of a dive watch. I think I'd prefer a date complication too, but this does definitely make for a cleaner appearance. Thanks for the great review.
Your video production is amazing
Always looks very professional while still remaining a personal style
Keep up the great work Dave!
Greetings from Germany
That yellow is calling to me!
It called...I answered.
I love the color and overall design and quality of it. Almost 99% of diver watch owners don’t even swim in the pool. 😆
Big fan of titanium watches and RZE. Was waiting for your review. Nicely done.
Another great review. I appreciate that you wear them and do your research on them! I have seen other reviews where it looks like they unbox and do review at the same time.
I really like the slanted text you did with the editing and the use of bold colors in the b-roll. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 The medallion yellow is also very nice, it kind of reminds me of the recent Rolex OP's.
Nice video, and happy to see you say the bezel action is good as you can only tell that from a hands on review. I have one on pre-order! I actually ordered a few weeks ago when it was still $399. But i like your reviews so had to watch.
Superb review - great to see you recognise personal choice rather than criticising something. I ordered this exact watch/colour as a result of your review. As a Brit I just struggle with 'very unique' as we struggle with degrees of unique - it either is unique (one off) or it isn't (no degrees). Thank you for the quality and balance of your reviews.
Great watch. I ordered the yellow and got my email today that it has shipped! Can't hardly wait! Good vid. Keep at it!
Thanks for this review. Can’t wait to receive this watch. One of the micro brands doing good exciting work.
Your lume shots are the best I’ve seen out there, absolutely awesome. This dial up close looked kinda like an orange peel. Love the finish on this watch bracelet, very nice.
I was very pleased with the Grey Endeavour prototype I reviewed as well. I ordered it and the yellow for my personal collection. Cheers
Excellent review as always my friend, you seem to notch up upon each show, and loved the colour stripes used ;)
The titanium is always good to have on a full metal watch, and the case is very nice, and like how it looks all bezel and dial, until side on and shows something very unexpected ;)
Has a modern vintage look for sure... can see this being a good hit, and I like the logo ;)
Blue tint on the lume is a nice addition... overall, looks great for a prototype!
Big thumbs my friend ;)
Btw, no date makes this watch in my opinion
Another gorgeous watch. Great review. Thank you.
Absolutely brilliant channel
Great review. Thanks
Superb review. Thank you.
Not big on yellow watches but for some reason I needed this one! I preordered a while ago and it was really cool to see your review on it. The design reminds me of my Halios Seaforth.
Really loving the design of this watch and I love how light titanium watches are. Mid to high 300s for price point would have been perfect though.
Can’t wait to get this in the mail!
Great review
Great looking watch Dave !
I knew someone would be somehow able to make a thin dive watch!!! I loved the Resolute field watch, and this is no exception, that yellow 💛 is awesome. However it seems too expensive even at pre-sale.
I had the white full lume dial in a few weeks ago, absolutely loved it! Think I'm going to purchase the yellow dial for my own collection however!
Cool watch. Price a bit steep for the movement. But that yellow might push me over the line.
Nice watch, I liked it and an great review as well.
Mate, love how you aren't shouting. Appreciate your style.
THANKS VERY MUCH!!!!
Wow everything about this one is perfect for me and on their web site the gray dial is real sharp.
Looks a great watch Dave very different I want one 😁
Very nice watch! Sort of a Sinn style with the titanium h link bracelet without the Sinn pricetag. I'm interested to see what they bring to the table in the years to come.
Amazing color, great job picking this one.
Great watch, love this colorway!
The case shape shows some influence from the Samurai and Zelos. Very attractive - the yellow dial is the pick of these I think. Another benefit of titanium is low thermal conductivity - it doesn't feel as cold on your skin in winter. Nice! On the other hand, it's almost impossible to find an alternative bracelet for this.
The closest big brand competitor I can think of is Citizen. They have excellent titanium divers in both quartz and automatic, but noting quite this cheap. The NY0071-81E sometimes dips under $500 on the grey market and they are brilliant at that price.
I backed their first offering on Kickstarter - the Reise resolute and I paid extra for the bracelet. It's a great watch and I was really looking forward to their next offering however it's the exact same case and Even the same bracelet. They've just stuck a diver bezel on it.
This looks great I'm just disappointed how similar it is to the resolute.
Hopefully their third watch will be a new design
Good looking diver. Love the mango dial.
Love it love microbrands that hit it out of the park Witt a model. Well done RZE and thanks for the good review
Amazing how companies keep on pushing the boundaries of low-priced high-spec watches. The future is good.
Nice watch, I just don't get on with Titanium. Of course the scratch resistant coating may help
This is pretty nice. The strap reminds me a bit of the citizen promaster tough.
I do like day and date as a rule .
Really great design and color.
Such a unique design on this one!!!!
Love it! Just wish it was a bit larger....
These are really nice. The price come from the Titanium for sure.
I was thinking, the steel clasp, perhaps because of a counterweight?
Good and nice looking watch. Hamtun Kraken H3 provides very similar specs with PT5000 (28800 ticks) movement
Yes, nice movement which has some positive feedback, hoping that as RZE establish themselves with their recognisable design language that they swap to better movements.
Yay NH38! That is pretty awesome
Please review the Dan Henry Dress Chronograph. It's currently my grail dress watch - a beautiful vintage design.
Thank you.
Between this or the reise resolute which do you like best?
If they ever offer one in orange I might be tempted.
I was thinking about orange as well, but I also love yellow, red, bright blue like Casio Duro blue.
Nice watch, looks similar to a Zelos Blacktip.
Good review. Personally don’t like the look of that titanium, it’s sort of like a sand blasted finish and looks a bit cheap (I know it’s not). I can see this watch looking better in full black coating, especially with that orange dial and white markers.
They are putting out some very cool pieces, but for me, I won't buy it without a date complication. They should have left the option up to the consumer, at least IMHO. Great job on the review, as always...
ive been considering this watch for a long time
Well a month or so - seeing as it's only been out that long
Best watch for the clasp on bracelet?
Well done review!
My interest is piqued on this watch!
Do they ship to the UK?
Have been trying to find a nice yellow dial watch. This dial looks really good. How does the finishing compares to some other well-known brands such as Zelos, Seiko, Helson?
Check out Doxa website!
Date option was added
What would you go date or no date same price
Alright, nice design etc. However: I'm watching this video while wearing my Titanium Zelos Swordfish. Yeah.. got all that for $369(!) at launch ($449 after launch). So sorry, $419 and $459? Don't think so. Zelos is showing how it's done.. Oh, did I mention the Zelos bracelet has on-the-fly adjustment?
Zelos is pretty hard to beat when it comes to value. I don't know how they do it, some of their models it seems like they're almost giving away!
Does the bracelet pull the hairs of your forearms ? ... I'm assuming that it is you at 3:30 , my hair and complexion is kind of like yours . I'm thinking about getting both , the Endeavour in yellow and the Resolute in grey .
No, haven't had any problems with hair pulling;
@@JusttheWatch Thank you , brother .
It's not too bad! I'd prefer it in SS!
This looks cool but I feel like the Dailos titanium diver will outshine this one once it’s in full production. Maybe we can get a head-to-head?
I think about to pull the trigger on this. That dial is too good to pass up and having a basic movement is not all bad because if it stops, just put another one in for not a lot of money.
So has the scratch-resistant coating on your watch lasted well?
This was a prototype that I had to send back. I just got the production version this week, so I haven't had much time to see how the coating lasts.
@@JusttheWatch Thank you.
You are the Kev Central of watches , matter of fact , you guys look like twin brothers . ( Kev Central , mountain bikes ) .
Wow 😳
I adore the watch but I don't /need/ the watch. As much as I'd like to own it.
Bezel design - thickness within 4 mm - that is the way to go - my point of view: bezels are to be a detail that outlines the dial. The concept of thick bezels around dials shortens the dial area , creating a perception that the dial is "trapped", smaller, limiting creativity in combining numbers, indices. descriptions, etc.
I like the color of the dial; again, it contributes to its appreciation. Dark traditional colors stop the dial from "flowering".. for a reason and respectfully, a lot of people wear dark colors... to create a slimmer silhouette.. the same happens to the dial here...
Case design: angles too abrupt, like cutting down; I would prefer them to be smoother even if that enlarges the distance lug-to-lug..
Bracelet: metal bracelets flatten the overall look of the watch; in this case I would have gone with a leather band, dark (black or brown). That would have brought up the watch instead of being diluted by the bracelet.
Movement: not sure , the watch does not have any complication.. so, maybe the reason is to add with a more robust movement, instead of a NH35
Price: Considering materials, bezel design and ... maybe the case... $380
If I am correct, you live in Japan. Do you have any thoughts on Japan online or any of the local companies who will ship abroad?
Awesome! A microbrand that uses the proper movement for a NO date and/or day/date - - NO 👻 pull on the crown 👑
Looks very good still not sure on Titanium watches though to easy to damage I assume
Currently $529+tax so it's even less of a deal than it was 2+ years ago.
Would love it with date
On the lume, a c
I get the hype with RZE, but... i really don't like their designs (previous and this one), it's as i say tad "german" sterile and strangely angular , not my taste anyway. The big BUT though is the price, 420 pre order (460 MSRP!) for a NH38? Or for the titanium bracelet? Ain't that high? Just saying...
Aside from that, great review Dave, nice shots. Oh, and very nice eggyolk color!
PS Please, let's all quit "the scratch resistance of titanium", it's way better than ANY polished dress watch, all companies apply layers making it (maybe) better even from stainless steel. Now let's talk of crystals... 😜😁
that yellow..UGH!
A free watch for an honest review? Not likely.
Ahh... to be 24 again... motorcycles and bird-dogging chicks.
If it only had day/date.
I like divers without a date better.
NH38 - no. Not worth it at the price and even for free who wants to wear a six-tick movement. A pity really as the colour and design are great.
This watch was a big disappointment. Very small watch, looks like woman’s watch on my hand. I had to return it. In addition, company is using DHL to ship meaning high chances that your watch would get lost but RZE is not taking any responsibility for shipping.
It's a 40mm watch, a very standard men's size. Unless you are into the 52-55 mm Invicta style.
