@@sontheboss Some people like to play zamasu on anchor because he has really good solo damage and mix, great meter build, and for his fast pokes. I play him there sometimes, it’s definitely a fun option.
I'm very new to the game and planning to play Baseku (anchor) and Broly Z (mid), but looking for a good point character? Any thoughts? Maybe 21 or Adult Gohan, would it work as a team?
I did quite a few videos on her, I did character guide(which ill prob remake in the near future),how to do lv 3 mix up ,mix up guide and what her steals do. Anything in mind that I haven't done yet?
Well for ssb the grab is pretty slow. Ssj4 the grab is good but he suffers in neutral because he has no full screen option So that is why they aren't the top 5 but they can still be good for you
He doesn't have the best neutral which is important for an anchor, lvl 7 gohan is a double edged sword because in exchange for meter his buttons, specials and overall damage output is higher but he's still able to get 2 touched like any other character
They usually have to have most if not all of these features. Good Neutral, Solo mix/command grab, good damage, Does not need assists for good damage/mix or Neutral. And any good individual characteristics like DP, or super armor.
Was hoping for more niche picks, like secretly good anchors, like I would have Teen gohan ahead of baseku he has plus frames, which means he has mix, a DP and better damage. He has so called stubby buttons and “bad” neutral but then the 5lll, 2m, lariat and ki blasts beg to differ.
Teen Gohan not having a knockdown and a way to lvl1 unless in the corner. Better damage Is baseku for sure and teen gohans plus frames aren’t as good as having a grab and 0 on block 2L imo
Teen gohans neutral is too lackluster and really relies on assist to get anything started which is why he should only be on point. Kefla though I can see being more of an anchor than teen gohan because of her superior neutral, ability to make plus frames in blockstring and has more solo mix ability than teen gohan

The fact that Arcsys thought Z Broly and comeback mechanics needed buffs still baffles me.

Great list. I personally have 21 over baseku and Z-broly but they are definitely the top 3 imo. Frieza and Zamasu could be good honorable mentions.
I can see Frieza but why do you think Zamasu is good at anchor? Honestly I think he should be played on point imo.

I'm Suprised yamcha wasn't 5th I think he still has a solid assist and decent mix with a plus frame 5h, but i think his buttons are a bit too stuby
