From the bottom of the leaderboard last week to the top of the leaderboard this week, Absolutely thrilled to see Sara make a drastic improvement mainly because it's ballroom which I think she'll nail, Congratulations
That's the biggest improvement in Strictly History. She doubled her score
If we talk about the number of points more, then yes. If we talk about doubling the score, Chris Ramsey also did so in week 2 in 2019.

Wow! Just WOW!! I was not expecting that from Sara. I feel like this was what I was expecting from AJ, not the dance, but from the uniqueness of it all. I feel like this song and the theme fit Sara to a T. The feather steps into the sway were great. Nice footwork, ballroom hold was good. I didn't understand why they were at the bottom last week, but I commend Sara and Alijaz for coming out and giving one of Alijaz best performances IMO. Never put Sara in a corner I reckon!! Good Job!!!!
Welcome to the competition Sara, oversway was extraordinary, the footwork was absolutely perfect not one mistake and the heel turn was beautiful. The topline was strong, great body contact mostly, it flowed like a fountain, it was dreamy and romantic, gorgeous musical phrasing, it was romantic, quiet, refined and sophisticated. The set suited the dance, the standing spin was so at ease, and that standing spin with one foot up was so smooth, some lovely double reverse turns and her arms were lovely extended. Excellent pivots! Totally new dancer, it's unrecognisable, looks like she'll be great at Ballroom and struggle at Latin, like most of Aljaz's partners. Only flaw was her posture it needs to relax more but what a Foxtrot. That improvement will make strictly history *9/10*
I preferred it to AJ’s dance. This was sooooooo smooth! Glided over the floor like silk. Loved it from start to finish. AJ’s routine traded off some slight stiltedness in places for the more complex routine.

I am so happy and proud of Sara. Ballroom is definitely her strong suit in this competition. She has improved so much. This! This is what Strictly is all about, right here! She has a chance! I'm so happy, there's no chance she's being eliminated after this. She's proved every doubter wrong. I knew she'd improve, but not to this extent.
It's so lovely that Anton wants to dance that routine with her. What a compliment. She was heaped with compliments. Deserved. She has had the biggest improvement of all the couples tonight, and she deserves all the praise.
Nine?! She got a nine!! From the worst of the night, to one of the best of the night!! What a shocker! What an improvement! Such a success. Alijaz's highest scoring Foxtrot? How few Foxtrots has he done on his time on Strictly? Then again, he never did one with Abbey, his Champion. Well, this is a great dance and score to complement his favourite dance style.
Oh, I almost cried, my aunt definitely cried. We are just so proud of Sara tonight and the improvements she has made. She has flourished beautifully and I cannot wait for her next dance.

Well what a transformation. Immaculate frame, very strong foot work, brilliantly graceful. Was slightly ahead of the beat on occasion and there was a small amount of gapping. 8

One-third of the success is due to a great song choice; one-third is due to a proper dress for Sara, and then, of course, it was a beautiful routine. Very enjoyable.

Hands down a beautiful Foxtrot. Great timing all the way through, lovely rise and fall. Could have been a bit more sway if I'm honest, but oh my goodness that heel turn! There is a reason that pro's often choose to omit a heel turn for their celebs, and that it because it takes a longtime to learn to execute it well. Sara's heel turn was exquisite.
Even though I had plans to vote for other contestants, Sara (and Rob) absolutely deserved a vote! Amazing

@@strictlyfan0130 AJ is a lovely dancer, and she did a wonderfully controlled throwaway oversway in her routine, so I can forgive the heel turn! Anyway I can definitely see her in the final,. As long as she sorts her feet out ;)
@@MsGrockle they all have things to improve on, and I wish they brought that up last week. But you shouldn’t take credit away from her heel turn. I love it!
@@strictlyfan0130 I think we will have to disagree on it! Props to her for doing it though, there are plenty of Foxtrots that have had none at all. It's not an easy figure and she gave it a really good go.
That was, without any doubt, an unbelievable improvement over the Cha Cha Cha! Sara’s first dance was riddle with mistakes, but this foxtrot was simply lovely. Sara’s footwork was enchanting, very close to be flawless. She didn’t miss a heel lead; she pushed her heels lovely into the floor. Her hold was beautiful as well. What I want to see know for her regarding ballroom is working on her top line (her head position), learning how to create sway and how to glide more while moving backwards. Had she done those three things, her foxtrot would have been perfect. To sum up, it was unexpected, soft, light and beautiful, undeniably impressive footwork-wise, but it steel needed some polishing in order for it to be sensational. In my opinion, Sara was overmarked, despite producing a very impressive dance. Hoping to see her doing another ballroom dance, I’m sure it will be even stronger. My score: a 7.

The first week, I was certain she would be out by week 2. Like she might as well not even dance seeing as her fate was instantly decided. But then she really pulled something special out of the bag with this dance and it ended up being a massive improvement.

Yeah. Even if it really isn't her strongest suit, she's gotta be at least decent with it, like Emma Barton, who got to the final despite relatively low scores on her Latin dances.
Hopefully after this score she will have more confidence, and while her strength is probably ballroom (considering how she delivered this for one of the hardest ballroom dances) she can improve in Latin for sure!

It's quite obvious she's gonna do very well in ballroom, and then every time she's gets latin she's gonna tank completely and will continue to yo-yo up and down. Maybe will last a few weeks I think....

These dance routines are too short & have wasted lead up section . And mute the audience during the dance ! Maybe from week 6 or so they can put more content/time into the routines , 3 minutes of dancing , please
