Looks like, I am getting addicted to Arabic Poetry... is it normal ? 🤔🤔 and I really wonder the dimension of the effect of Qur'aan .. on these legends... I heard Labid quit poetry after listening to Surah Kawthar... may Allah grant us such ilm.. which could make us closer to Qur'aan... than anything else...

الهاء في نهاية البيت الأول إما عائد إلى الدار لأنها مؤنث مجازي أو الى الأعادي.
و جاز ضمير الأعادي أن يكون مفرد مؤنث لأن الكلمة جمع تكسير. و هذا أسلوب معروف، يوجد في القرآن الكريم.

الهاء في الشطر الثاني من البيت الأول عائدة على الدار. حيث أن الدار كناية عن القدس والسور مقصود به الجدار الإسرائيلي في الضفة الغربية

You can also use the plural for بيت meaning house to be أبيات
it is not confined to poetry

Jerusalem also come from the Greek word for sacred.
"Al-Quds" , the Arabic for Jerusalem was used late. In the 7th and perhaps even the 8th century "Iilya" was used, as found in the poetry, and even the prose of that period!

I believe it's -ha on suur (suuruha) because of the form of the plural 'adw (a'aadii)

Just found this channel, so not sure if someone has pointed it out to you before. I don’t think it’s accurate to say that غير العاقل means unaware of Allah. Might be better to translate it as: animals and inanimate objects, or unintelligent beings.

"ها" meant the wall of the dar
So it's a pronoune for the " dar" wall
Which is a female is arabic and "ها" used because its female
Yes, he got this one wrong which is very difficult for someone who speaks Arabic to get it wrong at that level, not to mention a native speaker!
It's ها because the poet used the word الاعادي
And not الأعداء if he would've used الأعداء the qaffya would have been اسوارهم
Think about it the dar (home) dosent have walls. the enemies build them.

I read that the English word Canon doesn't come from the Arabic قانون, but in fact they both come from the Greek word kanon.
The word قانون is a Greek loanword; just saying ;-)

For children, I would advise you to use arabic children songs and let your kid hear it more often using simple Arabic words to explain it. Also recite the alphabet more. Since you are the faster learner you can memorize more arabic words from those songs or from simple Arabic videos, little by little and by continuing this you will find that you have learned alot and so will your child. Then you can start teaching the child how to write letters and small words. You can find helping videos on UA-cam.
