I think this is EA just saying “abandon ship” on an already thinking vessel. This is probably the end of support for this game as there is no financial reason to continue from a business perspective.
Funny thing is, servers are only shit when your internet is shit(for the most part, in overload/rare cases they will go to shit), like most games, a vpn can easily fix that, I only have issues when I'm not on my vpn (and even then issues are rare) footsteps are mainly on you, though in very rare cases they won't actually play. You fucks just don't listen, and also expect to hear footsteps over a ton of gunfire and explosions. Like I had happen yesterday, I was playing ranked, firing shiela and barely heard someone coming up the zip until it was too late, I didn't expect to hear the zip over fucking shiela cuz its a loud ass gun. It was on me.

Real question is, will the first battle pass go away or stay when the split happens? I like the system apex uses for the battle pass but concern about this new change. If we lose the first battle pass in the second half, it will be a waste of coins if you don’t get ten levels a week.

They addressed the cheaters after an entire season of it being this bad, and after all the broken promises as of late, I doubt it’s gonna get better anytime soon
There's literally nothing they can do about cheaters. The only thing they could do is hire a GM team to manually go around monitoring and banning people all day... and there's no way EA is giving them the funding to hire another team.
This is really good! I'm glad that they've finally reverted the pricing changes and actually made it better for AC recyclers. It gave more value to them by giving more rewards per season and the premium and ultimate variants are kinda good too, in some way. The Ultimate is definitely the way to go for new players and people that ran out of AC that would like to buy the battle pass since it's basically a top-up bonus, then afterwards they can just buy the premium battlepass
Now people who refuse to spend money like me and rich kids with their daddy's wallets are gonna be happy altogether. The happiness will probably last until you play a game of ranked.
if its 2 passes per season, we still lost. the initial complaint was the 2 battle passes. all Respawn did was sprinkle a Band-Aid to the situation, IMO .
This is actually pretty dope, this means you can still continue using saved up coins and re-use them but the return on investment will be higher. It's a win win because it boosts player engagement for EA by implementing 2 passes, but we get more coins than before if we do both. Normally we get 1300AC throughout the whole single pass, making a profit of 350AC. But now with the changes in place, should you buy both passes, (and max them) you make a profit of 700AC in half the time. Seems great, for players who play alot but may harm those who don't play as much but still want the rewards (due to the time constraints). It'll be interesting to see how they handle the next season and how XP will play out. but it seems hopeful as of right now.

The graphic doesn’t appear to show two split battle passes. If what you get for 950 apex coins is 92 items (plus 18 for the free pass) that’s the original 110 lvls for only one 950 coin purchase. I think the split passes are gone
The Actual admission of guilt gives me a bit of hope to finally return to the game , After over a year of not playing because most responses from games tend to maybe acknowlage the issues but almost NEVER say that it was thier fault hopefuly we can see steady inprovments and more transparnsy other triple A games seem to finaly be getting whats wrong most notable are D4 and OW2 Which have both seen incredible improvments from where the games initialy started hopefuly we can see the same. But the new bp makes me think we are going down the Siege path.😢

They incentivize you to buy the Ultimate pass by putting it slightly above the battle pass making people think why not spend the little bit extra. They are trying to bait you in to spend more. This is still predatory. The only thing they should keep from this is making more Apex coins than what you spend. That incentivizes people to complete the battle pass and give people a way to not spend 170 dollars during a collection event but it takes more time in game. People who might not have bought the 170 dollar collection event may purchase extra Coins to get the item they really want. I find that less predatory.
I'm happy that at least there are still going to be 2 Battle Passes per Season and Ultimate Bundles with more rewards. I'm glad they only changed that you can get Premium Battle Pass with Apex Coins.

The battle is definitely far from over but at least this is as step in the right direction. Until we finally see those quality of life changes and the cheater epidemic resolved then I don't think Apex is gonna be recovering anytime soon.
it seems that you didn't point out that doesn't matter how much crafting material or exotic shard is given. when there's no place to spend them all these collection event that you can't use crafting material recolor weapon are put inside collection event
