Thanks Ian, that was a really interesting tour of your facilities. Makes me wish I was starting out on my career armed with my industrial electronics qualification...though not sure what I learned in the 70s would cut it these days! The superiority of an electric drive train is even more obvious for vehicles such as buses with the stop/start work and always returning to the same place for charging. This type of vehicle will make proportionally more impact on reducing fossil fuel use than electric cars, though we can all do our bit. For anyone interested I am recording the experience of electrifying my transport and all my garden equipment here in France on my UA-cam channel ‘Kia e-Niro Diaries’.
