  • I’m as curious as the next person about AI so I asked it for a video idea… and now I’m challenging myself to cook four 5-minute breakfast recipes. Let me know if you tried any recipes and if you enjoyed this video! It was chaotic but fun to film!

Website with all my recipes: It’s coming!
    Recipe Overnight oats
    Ingredients
    - 1 cup rolled oats
    - 1 cup milk (whatever milk you like)
    - 1 tbsp pumpkin seeds
    - 1 tbsp sesame seeds
    - 1/2 tbsp honey
    - Fruit to garnish
    Method
    1. Mix everything above together and leave in the fridge overnight.
    2. The next day garnish with fresh fruit or eat as is.
    Recipe sausage and egg sandwich
    Ingredients
    - 1 potato bun or english muffin
    - 2 eggs
    - 1 sausage (pork, beef, veggie, it's up to you)
    - Slice of cheese
    - BBQ sauce
    Method
    1. Start by butterflying the sausage and place it into a med-high pan with a drizzle of oil.
    2. Next, whisk your eggs together with a dash of milk and scramble.
    3. Toast your bun, then stack your sandwich!
    Recipe spinach and onion omelette
    Ingredients
    - 1 small red onion, sliced thin
    - 1 tbsp olive oil
    - Handful baby spinach
    - 3 eggs
    - 30g feta cheese
    - Dash of milk
    - 1 tbsp olive oil
    - 10g butter
    - Toast to serve
    Method
    1. In a nonstick pan, cook the onion over high heat with a pinch of salt.
    2. Whisk together the eggs with a dash of milk.
    3. When the onions have some colour, add the spinach and saute for 1-2 minutes, remove from the pan.
    4. Place the pan back on the heat with another drizzle of oil and butter.
    5. Once the butter has melted add the egg mixture.
    6. Stir the eggs until they start to harden, then leave them to set.
    7. Add the spinach and onions back to the pan and the feta on top.
    8. Roll one side of the eggs over to the middle of the pan and then flip out onto a plate.
    9. Serve with the toast and enjoy!
    Recipe Huevos Rancheros
    Ingredients
    - 2 white corn tortillas
    - 1 tbsp olive oil
    - 20g feta
    - 2 eggs
    - Pickled red onions
    - Tomato salsa
    - Coriander to garnish
    Method
    1. Start by toasting tortillas in a fry pan with olive oil.
    2. Once you have colour on both sides, remove and place onto a paper towel to drain.
    3. In the same pan you toasted the tortillas, fry your eggs.
    4. To assemble, place a fried egg on each toasted tortilla and garnish with salsa, cheese and coriander.

Kia Ora Andy. Loved this. Food is always good but so is the genuineness. Where’s all the plates, burning the butter, always with a laugh and a smile. It gives the confidence to not make cooking too serious and it will all still be fine and perfectly delicious anyway.

I've found that a dash of water in the pan when making fried eggs, with a lid on the top for the last 10 seconds or so cooks the egg whites pretty good, gotta be careful otherwise you will make the eggs rubbery if cooked too long

If you want your whites to cook on time, once they're set on the bottom, toss in a little bit of water and throw a pot lid over them. Speeds it up but will give a slight film over the perfect yoks. If you need truly yellow yolks, suffer. 😉

@@Metalfacejoel Hence my comments about it being simply a way to speed them up and that if you want truly sunny side, ya just have to tough it out... Or did you miss that part? Of course I wouldn't serve that to someone in a restaurant if they ordered sunny up. I'm talking in your own kitchen.

    • @MtnBadger
