Playing through StarCraft II again would be awesome. People who make commentary when they play like you do are not that common. Some missions on your walk through have been very awesome and helped me out quite a bit.
If you run kerrigan right at the start to the top you can kill the top, tp back to your base and kill the bottom one with the protoss units and get a nice headstart
now i'm on your second video. i don't remember having a hard time with this mission on brutal so here i am. i was so confident as i get close to this mission thinkin' hey this was a piece of cake mission but for some reason i don't know if it's my apm have gone down or just really bad unit selections and strats this time.
I would love to see a custom campaign telling the story of the Tal'darim that decided to stay with the Protoss on Aiur. That would be pretty interesting.
I found this mission pretty easy even on Hard mode. Didn't play on Brutal. The zerg can just raise so many units so quickly. I just made boat loads of mutalisks and rushed them.
Yes. After watching this video I tried it on hard builting only mutalisks after upgrading to 3. Then just destroying everything with Kerrigan healing ability.
Battlecruisers can get +6/6/6 upgrades because of additional +3 from the +5% life and +5% attack speed per level from Hyperion lab research in WoL campaign)
I had the "luck" to spawn a crystal to an island. Apparently, Blizzard thinks one hitting base, spitting legion of towers and enemies isn't enough, the player's victory must also depend on luck.
1) there is more than 7 crystals. You can pick which to destroy to finish the mission. 2) with mutalisks its pretty easy to destroy island crystal. I did that.
@@DrydenOk On brutal? Maybe there's more crystal, but they didn't spawn in available location for me and I was getting swarmed by shadow monsters and my bases were ripped by Amon, so I had no means for 50 mutalisk that could have handle the last crystal.
The reliance on luck is most noticeable when it comes to the Triple Tap Mastery achievement. Even if you max out your Mutalisk army, you might still have to sit down for a while until you get three vulnerable crystals at the same time.
Yes would love to see another sc2 vanilla playthrough, but can't you wait for sc remasted and do a complete Starcraft playthrough from rebel yell through to nova covert ops?
I played this mission with every race thanks to custom campaigns and my strategy goes the same way, heavy defensive gas setups, send Kerrigan to assist, attack with nothing but mutalisk/battlecruisers/void rays and carriers, it’s an epic finale but lackluster in strategy At least all in it felt like a desperate defense and the reckoning makes you feel like an unstoppable force and salvation feels like an ultimate defense with hope looking more and more dire, here it’s just boring
Hello Jay! I will enjoy a lot if you play all Starcraft game's again.Only if you wait until Starcraft Remastered to begin the story again for new viewer's who don't know what is the story of the whole Starcraft universe.I am realy hoping that is a thing in your mind and I am sory for that i am falling behind with some of your series but i am a little too busy lately.I apologize for that and I hope to see that thing happening.Great work again as awlays and I will see you in your next video.
nice one mate! I liked watching this after so long! yeh it should be good to do it again, but why u don't do the original and brood war (i know u have done those on MR but u have also done SCII twice) don't u think waiting until after SC remastered is out a good idea? or what if u wait until March 31st for Starcraft's 20th anniversary that would be a nice homage wouldn't it? just asking that's all
Is the Void the 'shadow' that the Nerazim are talking about? Dark Templar hide in the Void? if not what is this 'shadow'? like the shadow from my hand? does a DT hides there? How DTs "slip through the shadows" and blink? WHAT IS THIS SHADOW? A DIMENSION? A REALM? MATTER? ENERGY?
"The void" is pretty synonymous with "the shadows" as far as the nerazim are concerned. Now that it's been psuedo-retconned into being an alternate dimension it does make a lot of what they do a lot more confusing, though
just use mass ultralisks and queens and you'll finish this map easily. u just need units with high health and queens can heal and attack air which us great
Raynor and Artanis are cheaters. They can get weapon and armor upgrades up to level SIX! (As far as I saw). Meanwhile Kerrigan is stuck to level 3. Say hello to 9 armor Battlecruisers.
Yes. Play the whole campaign. The sooner the better.
A grand StarCraft campaign (StarCraft 1/Brood War and all of StarCraft 2) once StarCraft Remastered comes out would be pretty sweet
i just did that over the last 3 weeks and i finished up today 😎😎
A good end could be that all Into the Void campaing was a Jim Raynor's fever dream lol.... nice game Jay !
Thank you for the overall idea, it turned the brutal game into casual mode!

Yeah, I would love to see the entire campaign again

Yes the whole content is indeed a good way to wrap up the starcraft 2 experience. Before blizzard ever think of making starcraft 3
I would love to see a custom campaign telling the story of the Tal'darim that decided to stay with the Protoss on Aiur. That would be pretty interesting.
Ultralisks are op. By the end you get a huge bank, a composition of broodlords/ultra/hydras or muta for AA
And life returned to the barren worlds of the Koprulu Sector because they stopped launching nukes galore. :-P

Wow I never though to try mutas in this. I went basically a hydra queen ultra mix and ran at em.
Did it work?
i remember going brood lords and roaches, worked like a charm and i didint even need to get +3 +3.
Very helpful indeed

I threw hatcheries near the allies to jump across the map to grab the shards
I'd really like to see a Starcraft 1 > Starcraft 2. If it doesn't influence your normal videos, like you mentioned in the video.
JayBorino how would you feel if Blizzard wanted to make you an announcer?
Pretty good because that would be a nice paycheck
I would pay for that but unfortunately he doesn’t have one in sc2 announcer pack

What is the name of the custom campaign that you played on? I'd love to try!

wouldn't it be a good idea to sneak a drone into Artanis and Jim's bases and make a hatchery so you can teleport to either one at will?
I did mass torassque. My army never died but they were slow and got stuck on huge buildings. still won on brutal tho :)

Togetic oh ok ty
Kerrigan the healing totem.
just use mass ultralisks and queens and you'll finish this map easily. u just need units with high health and queens can heal and attack air which us great
"im going to go ahead and use extinction"
Me "wut???"
thanks
Que gran partida.Increible
I played this only with broodlords and it was easy. cheers
it was on easy?
my one question thats never been answered... what happened to Niadra from HotS campaign?
Why you don't use Swarm Host? It's the best unit for this mission.
Mutalisk only useful when taking out the void crystal on the center of the map.
I used only ultralisks and I didn't use Kerrigans Extinction ability .... on hard :P
Okay, but why does Raynor get level 5 armor and level 6 weapons
Raynor and Artanis are cheaters. They can get weapon and armor upgrades up to level SIX! (As far as I saw). Meanwhile Kerrigan is stuck to level 3.
Say hello to 9 armor Battlecruisers.
just ultra spam and heal they will never die
Jay, will you be playing the original starcraft and broodwar campain when remastered comes out?
Deez Noodlez -OTB- He mentioned that he would at the end of his latest Mass Recall campaign I believe.
Why the people hates this level?
I hate this map
They have us out here fighting magic rocks. What a terrible end to this storyline.
what was your idea of a better ending? enlighten us oh great one!
@@ninja.saywhat was kinda Dragonball Z end like world of Warcraft warriors fighting Space ships
