He's human after all and he doesn't have his demon blood anymore.
Yeah, but still with John Constantine can also used magic by Fate & by Knowledge alone. His demons bloodline heritage only give him the upper edge of things. But that also doesn't mean or make John Constantine wins. His own wits & cleverness make John Constantine a Main Threat. He is the opposite of Batman when it comes to prep-time. Haven't read this series but Im not feeling it. Magic wielders have a natural ability to tap into magic but they still have to study and learn to use it. Even if Amazon sucks that ability they can't just all of a sudden learn spells and such. As far as I know magic doesn't work like that unless it's the helmet of fate or shamaz powers magically speaking that I just infused with capabilities inherently. Also, how do you drain power from an entity thats like not of this plain of existence? The science behind it and the laws of our 3 dimensional world wouldn't even apply to the spectre so that's another kind of stupid this I think the writers did just to do without really thinking about it (logically) I know we are talking comics, but still there has to be a certain sense of realism to your fantastic world and this ain't it.

What I find really stupid about this whole comic series is that you have Amazon,the brainiac queen and failsafe all of these machines working under Amanda waller ,like these are three of the smartest bots there are and they're just going along with her plan to depower and subdue all the meta humans in the DC verse . I repeat she's trying to depower the good guys like there aren't galactic level threats like dark seid out there in the galaxy ,why are these robots siding with a human ,like they have the upper hand ...
It's an exciting issue, but the idea of a machine performing magic, or the Spector being beaten by one, is a ridiculous concept. What I'm curious about is what happened to Superman's alien zoo with the destruction of the fortress?
It might not happen but….. If superman does get taken to Waller’s side and they need Darkseid and the new gods of apokolips’s help then all I can say is LET’S GO!!!

Rob you have to cover the new Gotham by Gaslight: Kryptonian Age! And the new Dc vs Vampires was pretty solid, a bit heavy handed with the name dropping, but shaping up to be another Dceased style comic
I like Zatanna and how they evolved her character over the years, like shes really capable. She doesnt even need a mouth to cast spells anymore and can do a wide range of things but shes pretty much a sidekick now-a-days and the writers tend to forget half abilities/skillsets characters they use most of the time.
This is the issue that I have had with DC comics in general because I know that heroes don't ask permission or obey rules and laws and general real world things, but in Marvel with Civil War you have the differing view points and heroes like Spider-Man and She Hulk work with the people and they are a little more grounded in working with police and things like that, or wanting to do better by making sacrifices like Tony Stark in Civil War when he said that they need to be put in check, and they are affecting the lives of poeople, but in DC, it is a hot mess. People like Batman and his Robins always beating up people, including cops and security, and taking evidence from crime scenes and them and Cyborg and others just hacking into things, and Wonder Woman even going against the army and things of the world, and she even goes against the laws of her own Amazonian sisters and culture, which, I know heroes are a written to be above everyone else for the plot, but the problem in DC is that they are way too childish, having the, "Heroes are heroes and villains are villains." It is so black and white. Also, the problem is that they are good, but they are too good. These heroes are already put on a pedestal by their fans as it is, but with them, when they rebel against the law and things like that and they suffer no consequences, and no one can stop them, that is when they start putting themselves on a pedestal, and that will get to their heads, and it will eventually lead them to becoming tyrannical, because when people start holding them responsible or try and impose consequences on them they rebel and believe that they are the good guys and that they are doing the right thing and that stuff just doesn't apply to them, just like Donna Troy said in Young Justice that they will do whatever they believe is necessary even with or without any regulations, so the heroes don't care about anything else, they are just interested in doing whatever they want, and when that happens you have the situations where they will begin becoming tyrannical and imprisoning or enslaving the planet in terms of peace, because they believe that they are doing what's best for everyone and they they know what is best for everyone, even if that is not true. That will get to their heads if they are given free range on everything. It is like that saying, "You either die a hero, or you live long enough to see yourself become the villain." And it can be attributed to DC because these heroes are all too self-righteous than self-less in some ways. If it was normal people they would be beaten and arrested and treated like scum, but when it comes to heroes they get to dictate and decide how things are and who is bad and what will happen and all of that and do whatever they want with just free range, and they are praised and put on pedestals and all of that. That is why I somewhat agree with Waller in these instances. That is just how I feel. Tell me what you all think.

What I find really stupid about this whole comic series is that you have Amazon,the brainiac queen and failsafe all of these machines working under Amanda waller ,like these are three of the smartest bots there are and they're just going along with her plan to depower and subdue all the meta humans in the DC verse . I repeat she's trying to depower the good guys like there aren't galactic level threats like dark seid out there in the galaxy ,why are these robots siding with a human ,like they have the upper hand ...
It's an exciting issue, but the idea of a machine performing magic, or the Spector being beaten by one, is a ridiculous concept.

I like Zatanna and how they evolved her character over the years, like shes really capable. She doesnt even need a mouth to cast spells anymore and can do a wide range of things but shes pretty much a sidekick now-a-days and the writers tend to forget half abilities/skillsets characters they use most of the time.

This is the issue that I have had with DC comics in general because I know that heroes don't ask permission or obey rules and laws and general real world things, but in Marvel with Civil War you have the differing view points and heroes like Spider-Man and She Hulk work with the people and they are a little more grounded in working with police and things like that, or wanting to do better by making sacrifices like Tony Stark in Civil War when he said that they need to be put in check, and they are affecting the lives of poeople, but in DC, it is a hot mess. People like Batman and his Robins always beating up people, including cops and security, and taking evidence from crime scenes and them and Cyborg and others just hacking into things, and Wonder Woman even going against the army and things of the world, and she even goes against the laws of her own Amazonian sisters and culture, which, I know heroes are a written to be above everyone else for the plot, but the problem in DC is that they are way too childish, having the, "Heroes are heroes and villains are villains." It is so black and white. Also, the problem is that they are good, but they are too good. These heroes are already put on a pedestal by their fans as it is, but with them, when they rebel against the law and things like that and they suffer no consequences, and no one can stop them, that is when they start putting themselves on a pedestal, and that will get to their heads, and it will eventually lead them to becoming tyrannical, because when people start holding them responsible or try and impose consequences on them they rebel and believe that they are the good guys and that they are doing the right thing and that stuff just doesn't apply to them, just like Donna Troy said in Young Justice that they will do whatever they believe is necessary even with or without any regulations, so the heroes don't care about anything else, they are just interested in doing whatever they want, and when that happens you have the situations where they will begin becoming tyrannical and imprisoning or enslaving the planet in terms of peace, because they believe that they are doing what's best for everyone and they they know what is best for everyone, even if that is not true. That will get to their heads if they are given free range on everything. It is like that saying, "You either die a hero, or you live long enough to see yourself become the villain." And it can be attributed to DC because these heroes are all too self-righteous than self-less in some ways. If it was normal people they would be beaten and arrested and treated like scum, but when it comes to heroes they get to dictate and decide how things are and who is bad and what will happen and all of that and do whatever they want with just free range, and they are praised and put on pedestals and all of that. That is why I somewhat agree with Waller in these instances.

I think my biggest problem with these stories that involve every hero is how many get jobbed out, Plastic Man gets taken out in like 2 seconds.
