- Ok, so again I decided to do the ‘Jeffrey Thing’ and go overboard. After thorough inspection of the van’s engine, it required an injector pump, injectors, flywheel/clutch kit, head work (seals) and a turbo. I purchased all, but then changed my mind. This left me with major parts that couldn’t be sent back.
Anyway, I have since been persuaded to put a high revving Honda 3.0 v6 vtec engine into the van after briefly mentioning it to certain people. I dropped this thought initially as the engine is way too good for the van, but more importantly, I have more earthshaking projects to be getting on with that require the van for transport (See list below).
Year 1900's Lathe to digital conversion with refurb.
Arthritis/Parkinson's Disease joint monitoring/rehab Glove (way in the future).
My DC5 Type R project car.
Accord Type S-H project car.
This most recent mad idea has put my most unique project I had planned to demonstrate in the spring forward a month or two.
However, since this has never been done, I then thought why not haha. I plan to have the van completed in 2 months. Everything from the conversion plate, mount/brackets, starter, half shaft, driveshafts, engine harness (nearly finished) that will all be custom build. As stated in the video, I am mounting a K series transmission to the J series and am not interfering with the DC5 conversion kit I designed and fabricated nearly 10 years ago for the more bigger aggressive engine (J32A2). All van transmission and running gear will be completely removed.
I can now say the steering wheel suits the van :-))). - Наука та технологія
