This was a really cute, simple yet not in anyway boring project! Loved that you did the details via crocheting. I hate feet that have to be stitched on 😅. Thank you!
It's important to know the basic stitches first. If you look up tutorials for 'chain' 'single crochet' 'double crochet' 'increase' & 'decrease' you should be fine!
Please can you help me? I did everything what you did but somehow the good looking side of the Hamster is inside? You know what i mean. The good looking stiches are not on the side where the eyes are. What can i do?
i'm so confused at row 6... for some reason there's not enough room in this row for all the stitches? row 5 is 21 stities around and when you count all the stitiches used for row 6 (2+1(for the front loop 3)+4+1(front lop)+5+4(BOB)+3+4(BOB)+3) you get 27 stitches used for that row...? help please lol. i've taken out this row twice already and tried to re do it but each time i don't have room
@@pran_so_cool143 lmfao i restarted it over 5 times, reread the written instructions and watched it in the slowest playback cause i was sooooo confused like how is she fitting all those stitches in that rowwwww. i founded another tutorial but that one sucked i like this one better lol
Heyy! Those 3Dc go into the front loop of 1 stitch and those 3DC stitches count as just one stitch because in the next round you wil SC into the back loop of stitch where you put the 3DC and skip those 3DC. They will form the ears so they need to stick out, that’s why we skip ‘em ♥️ Hopefully this clears things up!
I personally sell the pattern on my Etsy for anyone who appreciates my work and wants to support me. Also, some people prefer a pdf file to use instead of a video tutorial/picture on insta. There's also other makers who made their own (different) pattern who are selling them. 😊
can anyone let me know an estimate of how many hours do we need to make this? (as a beginner) i am thinking of making this for my friend’s bday and it will be great help if anybody helps me out ❤
It takes me about 45 minutes to make if I take my time. If you're a complete beginner I'd first learn the basic stitches before you start this tutorial :)
i truly dont know what happened, after i put the stitches in the back loop of the ears, the ears dissapeared, so they were somewhat hidden from the next rows :") is it supposed to be this way??
Hi! ohh that is definitely not supposed to happen. You have to put the stitches of the ear in the front loop, not in the backloop. You have to leave the backloop untouched until the next round. That way the 3 stitches in the front loop will stand out :)
@@PipAlblasMusic ohh okay thank you, just to make sure though the short tail from the beginning of the magic circle should be inside the hamster right?
My friend asked if I could make this but I don't have proper understanding of where to insert the needle and I understand it better in my own language, but there's no "sad hamster meme" crochet tutorial in my language
@@PotatoQueen131 I'm actually not, but thank you! I've loved English for many years, but I have trouble understanding her description of crocheting and where to put the hook because of it being in English

this is the best sad hamster tutorial I have seen, thank you!! They are amazing, now we can create a hamster army

It looks adorable ❤
When I start I'm gonna start with that

Thank you SO SO SO SO MUCH for this!!!!!!! I am doing them for birthday presents!!!!
So precious, tu
It was a good tutorial
Thank you!
If we don’t have Polly fill stuffing can we use cotton balls
I haven't tried that yet but I'm sure that could work! You can also use the stuffing of an old pillow :)
lovely tutorial 😍 how much yarn did you use for one?
Thanks love! I think about 15gr :)
Hiii, can I make this with a normal yarn? One that needs 2-3mm hook? Will it just turn out smaller? No other differences?
Hii! I haven't tried it but it should work! :)
@@PipAlblasMusic okk thank you
hey so if i wanna make this with cotton yarn - smaller version - do i just have to adjust my hook size? will the pattern still work?
Yess, just adjust the hooksize! Size 1 or 2 sizes down from the recommended hooksize
@@PipAlblasMusic thanks!
Lindo!!!!!! Obrigada!!
Does a size 5 yarn work?
Sure! If you make sure to adjust your hooksize accordingly 🙂
What size are the eye buttons used here? Can someone tell me?
14mm
Please can you help me?
I did everything what you did but somehow the good looking side of the Hamster is inside?
You know what i mean. The good looking stiches are not on the side where the eyes are. What can i do?
Do i have to turn the yarn after the first row?
Hi love! If that's the case you can try turning it inside out? I don't know how that could even happen but maybe that helps?
What size is the hamster?
what size eyes?
14mm
is 100g of yarn enough for this?
Moore than enough! I'd say I use about 15gr :)
on the pattern what does boS mean?
Small bobble stitch (just 4 loops on hook instead of 5) but you could also just do 5 :)
@@PipAlblasMusic oh ok thanks
why was 5th row 21 sc but then on the 6th one you need 25??
The ears do not count, you crochet into the backloop, so not into the ears :)

Wait have I been putting on the backings of the eyes backwards this whole time?!😭😅 10:27
Haha or maybe I put them on backwards? I just feel like this is way sturdier! If I put them the other way around my eyes keep falling out..
