I might have to respec and try this exact build. I hate this fight so much. Everything I've tried has failed so far and I've attempted 3 different builds and used a dozen different weapons. Maybe this will work though.
This worked incredibly well. Literally on my 2nd try they all died. I did it exactly the way you had it set. It was pretty easy. I had such a hard time with this boss and this build made it so easy. Thanks!!!
My favorite weapon and trump card has been the ancient meteoric ore greatsword. The ash is so fast, stuns on first hit, then knocks down after. I have a tanky build with fingerprint shield greatshield talisman etc using this sword. it SLAPS. Deletes humanoid enemies.
I wouldn't recommend this on a first play through, but to make it easier in ng+ or another run. When the great rune breaks, complete Ansbach and Thiollier's quest, tell Moore to remain sad, Help Leda kill Hornsent but aid Ansbach when she goes after him. DO NOT talk to freyja at all, leaving her quest incomplete. If you've done this correctly, you should have ansbach and thiollier as allies, and you will only have to fight Leda and Dryleaf Dane.

This fight is so bugged. Can’t always buff up before entering the arena, can’t use a great rune, this is a nightmare of a fight
Use the great rune before you enter the summon sign. It’s infinite until you actually die

all i did was obliterate dane with a blacksteel twin blade and euporia build..then go for leda
