It should be cancelled. It's selficide to release this IP as an extraction shooter when its fan base was actively fighting against its clunky shooter mechanics to play the story. This is the dumbest thing I've seen in years, and I saw what happened to Concord.
I have noticed that the microphone quality and mixing is subpar and well below what I want for this channel. I have ordered a better microphone and will look into additional supplemental recording software. I will take recommendation for said software as I'm unfamiliar with most.
Try looking into reaper, it’s free (trial can be extended forever) and comes with all the plugins you’d ever need such as eq, compressors and various effects

Jake The Alright sent me hear. Glad to see enthusiasm for Marathon to match mine. Been a Halo fan since the original Xbox and still to this day. I fell in love with the series and wanted to know everything about it. Bought every game, map packs, books, graphic novels, and board games. Even played both Destiny games and all the expansions. Needless to say I'm a big Bungie fan. In my opinion they make the best Sci Fi atmosphere, fantastical visuals, top tier gameplay, and always have rich lore. During the Halo 3 years I was wanting to know more about Bungie's previous games, and what inspired Halo. When I finally saw what Marathon was I was fascinated with how much of it's DNA was in Halo. Hell two of it's multiplayer maps were remade in Halo 2. Foundation was Thunderdome, and Gemini was called Duality. I remember people saying the terminals in Halo 3 were a call back to Marathon, and the ending of the game was leading to Marathon (which wasn't true). But none the less I was ready for Marathon back in 2007. I just wish the Destiny community wasn't so toxic about it. I used to be proud to be apart of that community. They've just become whiny entitled brats who think Bungie should just stick with Destiny. Even after since the very beginning Bungie said Destiny is planned as a ten year game. Let them move on and breathe new life into a new game just like they did for Destiny after they left Halo after ten years of dedication. Also just subscribed as well. You, Jake The Alright, Bonn, and sometimes Hollowtide have become my Marathon sources. Wish the best for you.
This is very similar to me. I grew up playing Halo Reach every day after school and that expanded to the previous games as well. Didn't ever play marathon until Destiny 2, but after playing every other bungie game other than Marathon, Myth and Pathways I knew I had to at least give Marathon a try, and while it does show its age in graphics the storytelling is the big takeaway for me, the biggest thing it reminded me of was HALO 3: ODST. One of My favorite aspects of bungie is the way they reference and brings ideas over from their older games. It makes Bungie's games in a way feel like an evolution of their past works. In regard to the Destiny Community, I don't blame them for being upset at Marathon especially fans of crucible and trials. I really hope they retroactively add dedicated servers to Destiny 2 if Marathon does take off. While I am of course very excited for Marathon I could see myself being in their shoes if I didn't. There are always those that are overtly angry and negative in any aspect of life and unfortunately, they are usually the loudest. I hope once Marathon releases the two communities can come together as one that loves bungie for Marathon, Halo, and Destiny and doesn't see one as replacing the other. I hope to work closer to Jake the Alright, Bonn and Sadow and hopefully more to build a dedicated community around this game. Thank you for your comment and your kind words!
