I got my Adjuster license back in June. I wanted to go IA and put myself on all the rosters, but never got a call up or call back. I applied for so many insurance companies. I eventually got hired with SF in an entry level position. Pay is low, but at least I’m in the door. How should I leverage this position to eventually go IA?

The great thing about big companies like SF is that there are SO many opportunities to move up. While you may be in an entry level role right now, you can move up and sometimes a lot faster than you expect.
So it's not a bad place to be - pros and cons of being a staff adjuster but the pros are pretty darn good.
However, if you eventually want to move over to the IA side of things, the best advice I can give you is to get as many diverse claims/role experiences as possible. If you can hang with SF for 5 or more years you can pretty much write your own ticket on the independent side if you decide to bail on corporate America.
