- A Maryland teacher is under fire after being arrested for allegedly sexually abusing a 9-year-old student. Mark Cobb, a teacher at Cooper Lane Elementary School, is accused of luring the young girl while playing Roblox with her. Cobb allegedly asked the student for lewd photos and asked the child “if he could taste her.” Law&Crime’s Angenette Levy breaks down the sickening case with Prince George’s County State’s Attorney Aisha Braveboy and former sex crimes prosecutor Dan Schorr.

Right!! If my teacher had anything to say to me they would call my parents or pin a note to my cigarette pocket. This is ridiculous. How did he go about asking her for her phone number?

I’ve noticed that children whose parents aren’t very tech savvy, or are disabled, or depressed, or drug users, or working too many hours are the ones that are in the most danger of being preyed on.
Parents need to monitor the kids phone use. I personally wouldn’t allow my child to have a smart phone for this reason.

I’m a parent it’s scary af. However I am/was included in everything in their lives I explained to them. Very early how dangerous phones social media etc is. It baffles me these parents allowed this thou. Roblox is creepy when I played it with my kids they showed me what was happening and hopped right off. Unfortunately, I fear that he HAS gotten away with it in the past, which is why he was so careless. He hadn’t gotten caught yet, so he slipped up and got lazy and desperate. I got such a hard time from everyone when I decided to homeschool my daughter since she was 5 yrs old. Even the school board gave me a hard time. Im a firm believer that if you're an alcoholic, the first place you're gonna apply is a bar. You cant trust anyone. I prefer to be called a weirdo than exposing my children to actual weirdos.
