Did you listen to the conversation between Anginette & Myra? She was removed from the jury due to a FB post that doesn’t exist. At least that is the reason they used. It’s clear she was going to be the “hold out” that could lead to a hung jury. Thats the real reason why she was removed. She has every right to tell her side of the story.
Saying that there was no evidence is strange to me because I watched the whole trial and found that there was evidence. Alex' timeline was false. He said he wasn't at the kennel at all around the time they were killed, but then Paul's Snapchat was discovered which proved he was there right before Paul's phone stopped moving and was never used again. Alex' truck computer showed that Alex wasn't where he said he was at the times he said. It was never just one thing as far as I was concerned; it was the totality of the evidence. The bottom line is that Alex is probably a sociopath, but even if he isn't, he lied about way too many things that he wouldn't have needed to if he was innocent.

If the judge had an inkling of a thought that a jury member had been compromised prior to hearing all of the evidence either for or against the defendant, then he had the duty to remove the juror from the seated jury pool and install an alternate juror. That's the reason why alternates are required to sit through the entire trial. The fact that a defense attorney SPOKE to a juror AND she answered him is enough to warrant her removal and to issue a sanction against the attorney. It would have been enough in my courtroom and I only heard low-level cases.

As soon as I heard the judge talking about the “egg lady” during the trial, for some reason it just rubbed me the wrong way, & seemed odd. Now it makes sense why. After seeing this, she probably passed out eggs, hoping to gain favor or sway some of the jurors.
