I am so glad I found you. Literally day 4 of researching feng shui. I am remodeling and adding am addition to our home. I figured I should apply feng shui to it. However the modern baugua and the "fast food" bagua even off a compass reading did not feel correct. I could not see how every house is the same energy layout! This brief explanation you provide here, fits what I have been feeling and feels more correct. Thank you!

Thank you. I lost a lot of money with western feng shui. The money dried up in my house because of it. I had to remove every adjustments and then the money slowly started to come back into the house. I have never been so angry.

Today afternoon, I sat in my garden making myself a "bagua" the western way, and overlaying it thebfloorplan of my apartment, while getting ,ore and more frustrated, that the stupid floorplan of this apartment werent drawn by an architect, also a Feng Shui wizz :)
I was thinking, OMG! no wonder I am so sick, living alone, and a lot of other stuff, all TOO MUCH STUFF
I began to move things around, mostly elemental stuff
I have also put gold in the eaSt Corner in my bedroom, because that east, I was told were beneficial this year 2019, and that it would be good to put some crystals and gold coins in east direction. So, I took my compas, and made me a little alter space in that east corner.
Then I was searching for a Feng Shui consultant, here in Denmark where I live, and found this sweet soul, having a lot of success with her Feng Shui courses, and I was clicking her email link to get an ebook and audio to find out some more, after I read the comments from participants of her newly ended course - They were ALL happy, and have had results - so I got exited, but wanted to know more, before I enlisted to anything.
So in the ebook, were that 9 squared Bagua, which I copied to a plastick folder and then overlayed it to my apartment blueprint,,,,,,, - Yeah, I know, but honestly how was I to know???

I have read 4 books on feng shui, 3 on western, used it to the T and saw not one improvement in any way. Specifically 'The Western Guide to Feng shui'.
I just read my first Classical Feng shui book and applied what I learned to my office, which wasn't a lot because the section on Flying a Chart was very poorly written. But even these few things have made a HUGE difference in my finances. Using western Bagua I had my chair facing the worst possible direction for me. Literally immediately after I re did my office I started getting walk in after walk in. I definitely do know that classical feng shui is extremely complex and personal. I'm absolutely fascinated by it. I'm a professional Astrologer, matchmaker and Health Coach. I would LOVE to get classically trained in Feng Shui.

the sun and moon are the reason the equatorial side or in old script the south, is the side of fire.
the west was said to be metal or minerals, because of the vast deserts in the west of china and the great forests were dominating the east, hence the wood element of the east.
Feng shui was an attempt to make the home a smaller version of the entire country.
the country is like a body and all elements must work in harmony to find balance and allow proper flow of qi.

How do I locate a consultant?
Firstly I must say that I just stumbled upon you, looking for general feng shui information. Secondly if you don’t mind me saying you are beautiful. Thirdly I am slightly confused with the family aspects, I am a single parent, so the patriarch position is irrelevant, I have 4 children my eldest is a son who is married with children and has left home, am I assuming correctly that he will now not be relevant to my house hold? I would also like to ask about my three daughters...the eldest is 18 yrs old, and the other 2 are twins who are 17...how do they factor being the same age and over 14 years old? I hope you don’t mind me asking. I am desperate to sort my home out, I have recently moved to this property and need to optimise my life and for the past 7 months we are struggling financially and with poor luck. Hope you or anyone can help. I need to know how to do the combinations !!! 😊❣️💖👍🏽👍🏽
It must be said that feng shui originates in a northern hemisphere country and the reason why the north is said to be the water dominant side, is due to the snow in the north as a perspective from a northern hemisphere country, that had yet to become aware of the southern hemisphere.
the new term for the north is the ‘polar side’ and the new term for the south is the ‘equatorial side’
the biggest mistake people make when trying to do feng shui in the southern hemisphere is to forget that ancient chinese fang shui masters, had no concept of a southern hemisphere.
I sleep outside a lot and when I do, my body is pulled by the gravitational and illuminating forces of the sun and moon.
trees grow more on the equatorial side, they fruit more and have more sap flow on the equatorial side.
When we harvest bark from trees to make shield, bowls, canoes, we do it in the winter from the polar facing side, so as to cause the least amount of damage to the tree.

thank u for this, im just in the beginning, so blessed to meet this... a bit interested, but i knew the general sides arent so aplicable, like for example when the bathroom is like in the wrong side, im pretty sure when arhitectures build buildings they dont think much, if at all abt feng shui or anything like this which to me is still pure mysticism not just like put ur papers on the desk to be easier reachable for you w/ou u having to move much and to get like distracted mb from the actual task u have to complete, so practical, but much like do that to atract good energy...

South (fire) could possibly be on top bc the sun (fire) moves overhead when facing slight Southern direction when living in the Northern Hemishere. Who knows!

What if you aren’t single or married? But dating and living together. What would you be considered?
If you consider that a committed relationship, and especially if there's legal acknowledgement of it ( for instance if you've lived together for a few years, some governments would see you as common-law spouse ) then that's considered 'married'

in all honesty... getting the 'right partner' can mean a lot of things. We all have karmic debt with people in our past lives, for instance, so sometimes your 'right partner' is someone who you need to balance your karmic debt with.... or you've had Soul Contracts to come back together again.
You can technically use feng shui to help you find a partner, but the 'right partner' is still determined by many things outside of feng shui....

It's actually interesting how, just googling "classical feng shui bagua" got absolutely NO RESULTS! Just shows how prevalent fast food feng shui info is out there to the point that the real info just gets drowned out.... :(

What about single parents, step parents, and only children? Will a single parent be in the matriarch/patriarch. Does a step parent become a matriarch/patriarch, does it matter if they are married or not if they helped raise the children? And is only child based on their age?
a person becomes a parent the moment they have BIOLOGICAL children, their marital status is not a factor at all. Hope that helps!
hello ,i just wanted to ask if there are any consequences in using Feng Shui incorrectly. my mom bought some ba gua for us to use, but she doesnt understand anything about it and neither did i at the time, so i just placed it anywhere in my bedroom and didnt give it any thought. i think ever since (its been around 2 years) my life has never been so terrible. should i get rid of it? how do i do it? i genuinely dont have the energy to learn about it to get the placement correctly, and im genuinely sorry if this sounds disrespectul, im just genuinely scared of something bad happening if i do anything wrong...
I would definitely get rid of it! Unfortunately, is not the first time I've heard of bagua mirrors and things went awry....

I'm no pro, but even I knew early on that it was wrong to place the bagua based on the south being the door, that obviously can not be true for every house. I hate that this myth is out there.

I can't find any reference in videos or sites that claimed they do tradicional Feng Shui on how to place the baguá in your home... I just need to be able to place it so I can identify the specific area of money and careers and try to do something! Since imóvel I can't find places to work so money is not coming in...

absolutely! I have a friend who went to India to study Yoga and she was really upset at all these 'new yoga types'.... it's an issue in a lot of industries but the worry about the feng shui misinformation is that it can and has literally ruined lives....

Sorry to say... don't fall to the trap of a 'lucky feng shui pendant'. You need much more than a pendant / keychain / bracelet to change your life.....

Nope. That's a SUPERMYTH. The way you feng shui your home doesn't change whether you're on the northern or southern hemisphere. The compass still points the same direction for north

Hard to watch cos it's not well planned or presented, but interesting. There's an entire school of feng shui called BTB feng shui that teaches to use the door. So then this entire school is incorrect? Are there not several different schools of feng shui apart from classical feng shui?
