PERFECT timing! I literally just moved into a studio and I’ve been studying feng shui a ton for the past several months. Just the other day, I even tried searching to see if you had covered this specific topic before, and I’m so elated that you finally have!
Julie I absolutely love these feng shui videos! I would love more on this very interesting topic...could you please cover solutions to problems such as as sleeping with the bed facing the door in the deathposition....sometimes changing the direction of the bed or placing a Crystal is not a possibility. Thanks 😊xx
Hi Julie! I have a one room studio. You said that there should be no plants in the bedroom. My bed is located on the farthest corner from my entryway. I wished to mark a landing zone by creating a small “foyer.” So I added a small table with a plant on it by my front door to slow ch'i from rushing in so quickly. Would having plants in this way be acceptable despite having no separate rooms?
Hi Julie - I know you will discuss kua numbers soon. I am confused cuz my kua number says wealth and career is on the SW side (Kua number 8 or 5) and then you say SE is for wealth...and then for number 8 or 5, the SE is bad luck? Hmm...I'm confused. I look forward to your next video to clarify this
I really love watching your videos especially when the topics and tips are incorporated with Feng Shui. You really explain it in simple, layman's terms. Thanks Julie.
@@JulieKhuui need to place a mirror in my dining room flat. Unfortunately it has 3 connecting doors and is rectangular in shape. Second, should I reposition the bathroom mirror? It is opposite the door.

I love all your videos but these are most favorites! These Feng Shui ones are amazing! You are just wonderful! Love your work. Thank you for these videos!
Awesome video , I have a small home ❤ I’m struggling with my entry way. The first thing you see is the kitchen island with the stovetop and counter. A wall hanging coat rack is behind the front door (to the right of walking in) Next to the coats is another door to the bathroom before the kitchen island. So no room for a table or bench in front of the kitchen island since the doors all open into the living space.
Thank you so much. I'm currently going through divorce and I'm moving to a new place right now. Your tips are so helpful to give me ideas on how to create my new happy home. ❤
Feng shui makes a lot of sense, but now that I finally have a home, I realize that I have forgotten most of what little I knew. I do still have a sense of feeling something is right or wrong, but would like to be able to explain to others. I greatly appreciate your feng shui videos.
This is a great video being ppl are going to smaller spaces/tiny home. For example: north is bedroom not office/"career", south is kitchen/front door, north west is patio.... for "helpful people and travel?, south west is guest bathroom for "love and relationships" ...? I guess it's good though that living room/dining room seems to be right in the center of the home for "good fortune/well-being."

Julie , why did you draw the bagua in this video over only part of the house? Can you please do an example of house you draw a bagua map and how you determine north or south in your own home. I hear you do with compass to decide and other people say to do at the front door, BUT don’t know if you face the door from inside or outside to decide north or south? A visual example on your own home would help for us dummies.
You may draw the bagua map on a single room, your entire home, OR separate “zones”- that is up to you to determine how you want to demarcate space. I go over the options and more details in the living room/ how to use the bagua map video. Keep your practice consistent- I use true compass directions always. Some people use their front door to indicate “north”- I don’t do this so every space I Feng Shui follows the same practice. But it’s up to your practice what you follow. Hope that makes sense Cynthia!
Thanks Julie! This is amazing and inspirational. I read some great books on Feng Shui at a pivotal time in my life and decided to learn, live, and grow with Feng Shui. I'd planned to take a certification course for Personal Professional use, but those plans have never been executed. A friend once told me that she has benefitted from unintentional placement of her gym bag near elements and in certain areas. I often feel like some ill placed items cause blockages, and I feel relief when I Am Empowered to make Feng Shui strides. I Am regrouping, and this educative content is reinvigorating to incorporate and practice more Feng Shui where I Am now and more so where I Am going.😎
Thank for the tips Julie ! Got a question , I have a standing mirror in our bedroom but I have faced it towards the bedroom door and the closet that won’t reflect our bed . Id that ok ?
I have a big question … I live in a rental apartment on a 6th floor. Can’t do much about it. Door entrance is in the NE. When walking in to the left is the dinning/living room (East) Across the entrance door is the large lanai with big glass doors (East-SW) and across is a very tall building. I being living here for almost a year and I feel the energy inside this home needs improvement, that’s why I’m learning about feng shui. My place is very clean and I decorate with plants and earth colors. Plenty of natural sunlight and windows always open. I bought a small convex bagua mirror (I read in apartments you can put inside, on top of the door frame, facing to the wall. But now reading more and watching videos said should not be in apartments, but other people said to put in lanai to deflect the energy from busy streets/buildings. My husband works in a restaurant with a lot of stressful energy. And I’m a caregiver in a hospis and working with dying seniors. How should I used the convex bagua mirror?
Thanks, I just subscribed, and I learned my mirrored slider doors for my closet that reflect my bed are not the best. I am thinking command strips and a nice print fabric. What do you think. My mirrored closet doors are on the east side of my bedroom. On the west side is a slider to a deck. My bed is in between them with the head of the bed on the south wall. The north wall has two doors, one to the bathroom and one to the rest of my apartment. I do keep the bathroom door closed at night.
Hi Julie, I have a quick question. When you are mentioning about North, South, West and East, is that for the northern hemisphere or south? I wonder if this all applies to Australia ?
Thank you for this video Julie! I love Feng Shui and its concepts. Unfortunately, my apartment is not set following Feng Shui principles. I started a plant collection during the pandemic and they are ALL in my bedroom because of the amazing light coming in through the window. I have noticed I don’t rest well and now it makes sense why. How could I remedy this without getting rid of my plants?
I'm new to the channel and it's because of these FengShui videos that I'm now a subscriber! You told me to so I'm doing it now: I would LOVE to see a video about my Kua number pleeeease!!
I have a whole wall in my bedroom that is a giant mirror (its sliding closet doors) tbh I love it cuz its super helpful for checking out my outfits when getting ready. Is there any way to remedy this without covering the mirror?
What about installing a curtain rod above the closet doors? Use two separate curtains so that you can open it up and tie them off to the side when you want the mirrors exposed. I’m no feng shui expert so just an idea!
My front door open up to a staircase that go straight upstair and when you look toward the back you can see the back door. When you look to the right of the door I have a big mirror the entire south wall of that living room. What can I do to promote prosperity in this situation?
Thank you for these vids. When demarcating.. do I include my entire apartment when laying out the bagua map? I noticed in the video the kitchen & entrance were left out
Why are long corridors bad? I’m going to refurbish an apartment area and I was thinking of making not a corridor but just the same open area, as in all the doors, the front, studio, bedroom and , kitchen are all aligned, but I will put doors in to create a blockage. Do you think that is okay? But if I open all the doors it creates one long entry way
Hi Julie, I love your tips and videos! What do I do in a small appartement under the roof? My bed can't have a bedhead, as it doesn't fit under the roofspace. It still feels cosy tough.
I'm loving your videos and I've just moved into a new place so this is perfect. Thanks for explaining why no plants in the bedroom - I've known it, but not know why :-) Yes to kua number pls!
Thank you for doing a video for small spaces, the big beautiful spaces you show are not a reality for some of us, so thank you for that. I happen to live in a mobile home, 16’ by 76’ (interior dimensions are 15’x75’). How would you map this out? If I consider the whole house, my sections would be 3’x25’, very odd to place items… or would you do room by room? And if room by room, do you use actual direction (N,S,E,W) or do you use the entry of each room as North? So many questions 🤔
I use true compass directions always. I would cut your space into a 3x3 grid and map it out that way, especially for a perfectly rectangular space. Should be straightforward Melissa! 🤞
Julie I love all your videos and particularly the Feng Shui ones. I have a question, does the best room in the house is always the bigger one? I picked my room because it has a better view facing my backyard instead of the larger one which views the street in front of the hose and my neighbor's house. Also I do not like the wallpaper in the larger room and I can not take it down right now. I already remove the one in the bathroom and two more bedrooms, I feel like I needed to take a break from that. Am I in the wrong room? Should I star fixing the larger room and move my bed there?
No, the best room in the home for you relates to your personal Kua number. The one that helps you sleep best should also be a priority, so it sounds like the one you’re in has more privacy and a better view 👍
I really enjoyed your video and have a couple of questions. In regards to plants in the bedroom and active energy, would that include faux plants and faux flowers? And in regards to pictures and active energy , are pictures of trees and flowers also considered active energy?
Yes faux would be treated the same as fresh flowers/ plants. Trees and flower images are considered yin/ peaceful restful energy. Hope that helps Becca!

Hi Julie, I love your tips and videos! What do I do in a small appartement under the roof? My bed can't have a bedhead, as it doesn't fit under the roofspace. It still feels cosy tough.
I understand. I would prop up extra pillows in your case
@@JulieKhuu thank you, Julie!
Very good , thanks
Thank you for watching Carla 😊🙏
I'm loving your videos and I've just moved into a new place so this is perfect. Thanks for explaining why no plants in the bedroom - I've known it, but not know why :-) Yes to kua number pls!
Yay! Kua number + explanations coming up 🙌☺️

How does this concept work?
Please make video explaining kha number 🙏
Will do Valentina! 👍😊
@@JulieKhuu thank you Julie
Great ideas
Great job
Thank you so much 🙏💖
Hi Julie, should the garage/s, esp. those attached to the house, be considered as part of the 'house plan'?
Typically no, since it’s considered a storage area (cars/ seasonal items/ etc)
Thank you!
Thank you for watching Hazel 🙏💖
Please show us how to calculate our Kua number
The calculation part is easy, the deciphering part is what’s challenging 😅
I would love to know more about kua numbers please!
Thank you for the feedback Gina! 😊🙏
I want know my kua # and lucky sector
Thank you for watching Lisa! I’ll work on it now ☺️
I really enjoyed your video and have a couple of questions.
