So the first hole is a detent pin just push it in the bottom hole is like a latch I used a ball end Allen key and it can unlatch it but the latch has to be pushed toward the steering wheel. If ur using a small Allen key it’s gonna take some wiggling
The problem isn't the lock cylinder. It's a switch in the gear shifter that actuates a key position lock solenoid. That switch fails and then the key lock solenoid won't unlock. The simple solution is to disconnect the lock solenoid. The connector is right behind the lock cylinder. You can follow it down from the shifter. The drawback of this is that when that solenoid is disconnected the key can come out when it's not in park. Younger drivers will roll cars down hills because they don't know that risk but older drivers should be used to that because that's how all cars worked until 30 years ago.

Do the locksmith guy fix your ingnition lock key? How much they charge for it.
where is that thing for programing they say 4 and 13 hole is reprograming key but where is it can somone take pic
