Thanks for showing which knots to use and how to make them. Other UA-camrs just show the tarp as a done deal. Please can we have some more ways of using and putting up a tarp.
I just found this video, and I am quite surprised. It was to the point, no extra yapping about. The knots were done excellently, they were not shown too quick. You did not give a 1 minute explanation of putting in the pegs. Very well done.
Yes, I wanted people to see exactly how to do it. I’ve benefitted from quite a few knot videos in past myself and have learnt which styles of filming the knots teach you the best. A bit of slow motion helps too! Cheers 👍
I have to admit that the first time I saw the camouflage DD tarp in their catalogue I laughed, but every time I see you set one up so well in the woods, I'm liking it more and more. My apologies to the good folks at DD Tarps, I just may be seeing one (or not seeing one 😁) in my future too.
Great video Ben!😊👍. So funny this should pop up, Pete spotted this tarp setup on your other video and said he really liked that so this was a great instructional video and we will definitely give this a go on our next outing!😊👍. Thanks for sharing and have a great week, Shell and Pete
Great video Ben. I’ve got a tarp but haven’t used it yet so that was a great help. I’d love to see some different configurations too if you fancy making a series 😆👍
Allow me to suggest the cow hitch and the timber hitch. Draw out 12-15 feet of #36 Cord and double it. Attach this to a corner of the tarp in a cow hitch. Tie the other end to the tree, object with a timber hitch. Use short lengths of #36 on the other corners and run stakes through them. Presto! Plowpoint! Very easy. Very fast.
Hi there!! New friend here and loved your video! Great content on this channel. Love it. Wish you the very best. Would love to stay connected. Much Love from us. God bless you❤️❤️❤️
Get you doing tutorial now LOL That aside a great video Ben, especially for those who have wondered how you do it. Will that be the configuration we see you use in your next wild camp? Have you spotted many trees down after these storms?
Thank you, much appreciated. Good information, well presented, excellent, cheers 👍👏👏👏
A pleasure.

Great video enjoyed watching always stay connected.
have a good day 💚
Have a look at a sheet bend. Make it with both ends of the line through the loop on the tarp. Can be slipped to make it easy to undo.
I will do. Thanks for watching.
Great idea to use the white background for the knot tying, it's an easy knot once learnt but takes a bit of practice to master.
