I just put together 272 kit saw and it came with Walbro carb and coil. I believe it can be real walbro stuff since Walbro has factory in China and there is a chainsaw parts dealer who has said that Farmertec buys stuff from Walbro. Only thing i did not like about the kit was the air filter, so i replaced that with OEM 266 air filter that i had on shelf.
I can get the g272 for $187 atm … That’s alotta saw for the $ ! After port mapping both cylinders the 272 will come out on top if you want a torque monster vs a higher rpm in the cut 372. Either one will do the job satisfactorily

I don’t believe the 272xp gets the luv it derseves. It’s an older platform than the 372xp and the av is a bit dated …That being said the saw can be fashioned into a real Torque monster with the right mods. Not a hi-rev saw like the 371/372 by any means , but she’ll shovel dem chips for sure !

And that is an awesome price... I also looked up my price and it was 275 on Amazon and can still be purchased for that. 187 is a killer price
